Description

The two teams will argue about whether tv shows affect childrens' perception of reality. The Saviours, our team, is on the negative side while
Avengers, the opponent team, is on the affirmative side.

Exposure to TV series has positive effects, as an example in the series The Walking Dead, which talks about a zombie apocalypse and gives many survival techniques.   There are too many other TV shows that help teaches kids, such as the shows that teach them a lot of things such as art.
If your kid is interested in cars, then there are car shows that give all types of information about them!

SALEM:Children mainly watch tv shows for entertainment some shows may not beappropriate for kids to see it may contain killing characters suicide and children are not mature enough to recognize the wrong from the right.

SULTAN:Children who view shows in which violence is very realistic, frequently repeated or unpunished, are more likely to imitate what they see.

ABDULRAHMAN:Kids and teenagers in our modern day have been attached to watching tv shows and movies and that has effects on the younger audience since they don't have a fully developed mind .

Some of the effects change childrens’ look to the world but positively. Like the series Sherlock, this brilliant detective gives out ways and techniques that improve their deductions and so on.

Another example of a show that teaches children is “Dora”, it teaches them language and good habits.

Fitness programs show kids how to exercise to have a balanced life.

By the way, any person under the age of 18 is considered a kid, which means that there are some kids that have a functioning mind. Second, there are many kids below 18 and they have very smart and wise minds, so age is not always a factor in determining what to do in life.

also walking dead shows that the people who will live are the strong people as a kid who is weak he is view to the world is just cruel why am i born weak questions that will to kid head why would i try hard to survive from the zombies and at the end i am going to die. the kid  would easily suicid because of his view to the world. There is always a character that a kid would love in the tv series he is watching. And while the character changes his view to the world and says words that would affect a kid the kid view to the world will be the same as his best character
sultan:Kids who view violent acts on TV are more likely to show aggressive behavior, and to fear that the world is scary and that something bad will happen to them.

abdulrahman:Every movie has a hero and mostly the younger fellas are attached to the hero and what they do and the hero approaches reality so the children would want to be like them so they try to be like them even in the way they look to life.

The walking dead never showed that you are weak and you are going to lose your life, instead, it showed how to be a great leader and showed what ways you should stay away from while leading. It also showed you what are the benefits of listening to your parent's guidance. It also kept on giving hope across the show to tell you whatever happens to the world you should not give up, but have a stand. Also when loving a character it is not needed to follow bad habits, as I stated in the last two reasons Sherlock and Rick Grimes, instead they will be taken as idols. Sherlock gives a perfect way of deduction, and Rick gives perfect leadership and guide.

Other effects may be scientific, such as the series Dark. It talks about a theory of time travel and what happens when you mess with time from consequences to benefits. Which will plant curiosity and excitement in kids to learn more about such things.

Cooking shows help teach kids how to cook and eat healthily. This will also result in a healthy lifestyle and give children a chance to discover their hobbies.

National Geographic tells much information about plants, animals to kids.
