The US should not have dropped the nuclear bombs "Little Boy" and "Fat Man" on Japan during WWII.

During WWII, the country that hadn't been involved in the war dropped a devastating bomb on Japan twice. Many believe that the Pearl Harbor Bombing was the reason for retaliation from the US. I will be stating why the two atomic bombs “Little Boy” and “Fat Man” should never have been dropped. 

To contextualize, Japan has been the center of attention in Asia during the war. Japan felt the right to expand and modernize just like the west. Japan meddled in Chinese territory, and committed what is globally known as the “Rape of Nanjing”. 300,000 Chinese civilians were raped, tortured, and killed. The US recognized Japan as a possible threat, and embargoed oil supplements from Japan. Japan, 80% reliant on oil from the US, was now forced to make the decision between going to war with the US, or withdrawing troops from China. This was when Japan turned into a fascist country, and Japan chose to respond by bombing Pearl Harbor. As a response, the US dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The US had no reason to intervene in the war between China and Japan. Therefore, the fault was on the US that Japan had attacked Pearl Harbor.
