One song per round, all electronic songs. Whoever has the better songs in the voters' eyes is the victor.
I did two of these with RM years ago, and we split the series 1-1. This will break the tie (for now at least, it depends if RM wants to do more of these).
Round 1 - Pro
I liked how Lunar Abyss was more fast-paced, and I didn't love the vocals in Distance, though there's no accounting for taste. I also think Lunar Abyss had a much stronger opening, whereas the vocals in Distance became a bit better near the end.
Round 2 - Pro
I appreciated the rhythm in Blue more than in Baddest Things. Maybe the latter is an acquired taste, but after the first few seconds, I do feel that the different sound effects and beats didn't harmonize as well. I'm no music expert, so this is just coming from my opinion, but I just liked the beat in Blue more all the way through.
Round 3 - Pro
The intro to Once Again felt like it could have been in Interstellar. I also thought the vocals fit with the instrumental. I did like the vocals a bit more in Turn Left, but the instrumental in Once Again was enough to carry it (even ignoring the fact that I should maybe be weighing the vocals less since this is an EDM battle.)
Round 4 - Pro
A New Dawn started with a good intro hook and picked up well as it went on. It als finished strong, even if the melody was a bit repetitive (but that's to be expected in EDM). That said, I thought Green & Gold relied a bit too much on the vocals, while there was more range to the beat in A New Dawn
Round 5 - Con
Moonbeam was nice, but in addition to sounding similar to a lot of what Pro had already posted, it didn't feel as emotive as Strangers. I also like that the beat in Strangers was a bit more versatile.
My vote goes to Con.
Round 1: Pro
Round 2: Tie
Round 3: Con
Round 4: Con
Round 5: Con
So whoever has best songs in voter's eyes is a victor.
Round 1 is for Pro.
Pro presents a song which for the first two minutes just caused me headache.
But somehow, after two minutes it gets really good and you even feel like dancing to it.
Con presents a solid song which is good from start to finish, but it is still outweighed by Pro's song even when we include that first two minutes of Pro's song are bad, because Pro's song rises to greatness later.
Round 2 is a tie.
This one simply felt like both songs were unmoving. I had to force myself to listen to both in hopes they get good by the end, but neither did.
Round 3 goes to Con.
Pro says his song is not repetitive, which is just one of the issues I find with it. The song seems to be playing 3 or 4 different things one after another and I simply cant bring myself to enjoy the fact that it abandons rythm in favor of some musical chaos.
Con's song was much more enjoyable, and far outweighs that song.
Round 4 goes to Con.
Con seem to have figured out the mistake from round 2, so he didnt post another song like from round 2. But Pro's song is almost same in quality from round 2 and 3. It fails to build mood. It never takes you on the path of excitement. While Con's song wasnt exactly great, it at least caused some joy while listening it.
Round 5 goes to Con
This was a very slight win, but Con's song has female voice and singing, where Pro's song doesnt. Con's song brings more joy while listening to it and I am far more likely to be willing to dance to it, which is an important quality in a song.
Based on that, I give round 5 to Con.
Overall, Pro's best rounds were 1 and 5, where Con's best rounds were 3 and 5 and 4.
I can say that Pro's song from round 1 is about as good as Con's song from round 3.
Pro only gave 2 good songs, and Con gave 3, and Pro's both best songs lose to Con's best song given in round 5.
I gave my reasoning for my vote in the comments. Rm's music was slightly less shitty than mharmans overall but more gay.
I did let quality be a heavier factor than gayness and RM won 3 rounds to mharmans 2
Round 1: Con
Round 2: Pro
Round 3: Pro
Round 4: Con
Round 5: Pro
Pro takes it 3-2.
Stand out tracks for each side:
Pro - Moonbeam by Waterflame x F-777. Jived hard with this one from the opening beats and it was just a great time throughout.
Con - Distance by Apashe ft. Geoffrey (VOLAC Remix). While HALUNA's vocals probably stood out the most across the songs you posted, this was my favorite marriage of vocals and electronica.
Mhar wins round 2 and 4
RM wins 1, 3, and 5
This is just my opinion:
Round 1: PRO wins
Round 2: Tie
Round 3: CON wins
Round 4: Tie
Round 5: PRO wins
Teminite is amazing
Your round 4 was dope btw, I was saving that brand new Rudimental track for when you gave a proper banger.
Ty for the vote.
Although I guess we really can't expect much in terms of an RFD at the end of the day.
I can't control how you vote at the end of the day; if I were voting, I wouldn't give an essay, but I would give a sentence or two describing why I preferred what I did each round.
I'm confident at this point that you're not trolling at least.
Music is subjective. I shouldn't have to write an essay on what I think about each song.
It's lazily written sure, but idk if that's a troll vote. I guess you can try to talk to someone if you think it is.
You can vote please no neutrality needed only listen and vote
I don't really think I could be neutral in light of R5, considering F-777 and Waterflame are two of my favorite artists (and have been for 6 years). Thanks for asking anyway.
I would never troll anyone. Trolling is immoral.
You know 7ks vote is a trollvote right
Fun vote, unrated electronic music battle; if you wish to vote please do.

I never said that Buku was an electronic artist, I only said he was my favorite artist.
I would say Buku is a rapper, not an electronic artist.
Yes, his beats are electronically produced but I think there's a difference between an electronic song with rap lyrics, and a rap song with electronic beats. It's a bit of a subjective line but I think most people get what I'm saying here.
Buku is my favorite artist.
I'll check it out ty
Sure but I actually use melodic techno (think progressive house but techno with some trance elements even) as background music while focusing on things at times.
I barely posted my all time faves here because they make such good background stuff either for thinking stuff or for physical/hardcore stuff.
The song Get up off the floor by Fortella is one of my all time faves but doesn't fit this context, similar with Baddest by vibe chemistry. Neither are melodic techno that isn't my point.
Search Miss Monique on YT, thats my go to background music DJ when I don't give a fuck what I'm hearing and want to drown out the distractions and truly don't care to utilise my Spotify playlists at the second.
ok so the first one isn't the type of EDM that goes in my playlist (my playlist has songs that have higher energy)... but I liked it. I could see myself using it to study. 9/10
The second one, I didn't like the start at all, but it was ok after the beat drop. As a whole, I'll still say I didn't care for it... it wasn't trash though. I give it a meh. 5/10
The third one was decent. It was a little "poppy" but, a as whole the beat sounded good, and the vocals added to the song more than detracted for the most part. 7/10
The fourth one was good. No questions asked. The vocals were good, and added to an already good beat. I wasn't sure about the lyrics, but they were fine in the end. 8/10
As a whole, very different from my standard taste. A lot of my taste is very high energy, fast bpm stuff. Three of my songs here were dubstep or drumstep. So in general, I like the "wubs" if you get what I'm saying.
How would you describe your taste when it comes to electronic? I get the sense you like stuff with a lot of rap and/or pop elements.
Second one is phenomenal for this imo but you don't listen to the second regularly to chill out to lol.
People are either gonna go WOW or not at all get the second one.
I think I liked the first one… hold on lemme listen again. I know I didn’t care for the second one, and I haven’t listened to the other two yet. I’ll let ya know
Do you even like any of mine
I have a lot more possibilities, I am not sure how you narrowed down to 6 for this.
So many branches of electronic music and possible voters too.
I'll probably post the last two songs tomorrow
That's why I took 20 hours on that one round... I was trying to narrow down my possibilities XD
Monstercat is goated, especially back in those days.
Two rounds left and I've got three songs that I really like. Choices, choices.
You and your monstercat...
Nice Round 3 though
im getting on it hold on
20 hours of song insecurity.
Unrated, 5 rounds, 1 day for arguments, 1 week for voting. Works for you?
