Defensive = trying to stop attack without destroying the enemy, or just responding to attacks or waiting to be attacked and letting enemy attack first, or enduring or dodging attacks, not expanding power when given opportunity to.
Imperialism = Destroy enemy, his mind and his attacks completely, including pre-emptive strike if necessary so that you attack before enemy attacks, and always expand power and work to increase power of your attacks and do everything to create greatest attack possible.
