I want to debate upon whether religion is a necessity or a choice in world? Does human kind actually needs a religion or can it survive without it ? Most precisely, will talk about islam

Forfeited
First off, I would like to thank Pro for having me in this debate. Unfortunately, Pro has forfeited the first round, although I'm sure he has valid reason for doing so. Without further ado, I will attempt to set up the case a bit.
Burden of Proof:
As the creator and Pro side of this debate, my opponent must prove beyond reasonable doubt that we (as in: all the people of earth) need the religion Islam. Need is the key word of the debate here, meaning Pro must prove that Islam is essential for the human race to survive and/or prosper. This is a very heavy burden of proof, and I wish my opponent the best of luck.
Pro must prove that
1. Some form of religion is essential for mankind
2. Within that, Islam in particular is essential
3. The things that Islam contributes to society can not be replaced by any other religion

Many do need religion to survive, but not muslim religion. That topic would probably be too difficult to even defend. You would have to prove that Islam ensures better survival than any other religion, and for who exactly? Average person?
