The degree to which a nation is Christian is defined by how true to the principles that actual nation (or for Europe region/continent) is, not remotely to do with how Christian it professes to be or how big its churches are.
Con agrees to this.
Con agrees that first amendment has led to verbal abuse to the point of suicide and other such depraved disparagings to become acceptable at a legal level in US. This includes advocation for info on methods of self harm and suicide being argued to be legal under 1st amendment to resist censorship.
Con agrees that the 2nd amendment has enabled more
school shooters, suicides, murders and all such things to more easily occur in US than any European nation.

How convenient lol.
Yes that is how it works, it chooses the country.
The Vatican selected America.
I meant for Americas history, not Europes as in the same years of both.
No, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is not exclusive to America, although established here in 1830, but is found in over 160 countries, and publishes it's unique scriptures [Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price] in over 100 languages.
The degree to which a nation is Christian is defined by how true to the principles that actual nation is....
By that metric, the EU wins handily.
By the logic that Christianity means blind obedience to authority and reverence for hierarchical control, the EU is basically the Vatican 2.0, just with fewer crucifixes and more bureaucrats. After all, nothing screams “true Christian nation” like unelected elites micromanaging daily life, enforcing moral orthodoxy through speech codes, and demanding the masses to comply with quiet submission. With its docile population, state-approved morality, and unquestioned technocratic rule by the gods in Brussels, Europe wins hands down with the virtue of Christian submissiveness. Europe may have ditched the pews, but it has mastered the sermon and the pulpit.
I can't foresee any way to argue this as Con. This resolution is inherently overly one-sided.
You could make a wild case that the USA was more Christian because they most recently invented a major Christian sect (Mormons) exclusive to the Americas..... but I am sure debate judges will rip that to bits.
Of course USA has been less Christian on any level, not just fundamental, than Europe simply because USA has existed for less than 250 years, while Europe has existed well over a millennia, with Christianity being significantly older than either. No concession necessary; that's just fact. On the other hand, your could argue that the population of EU is 449M, of which 64% are Christian [287M], while the US population is 340M, with 62% being Christian = 211M. You win, again with no philosophic discussion ever mentioned.
Neither are fully Christian. This would be about which Christian values matter more, the ones found in USA or the ones found in Europe.
Interesting idea for a debate. Not something I would debate nor take this side on if I did.
America has a separation of Church and Law.....
