Predestination(God has already destined everyone either for hell or heaven

If it is predestined, then what is the point of a god creating humans? To live a life only in the way he sees fit? And when the life is completed, that human will endure either eternal hell or eternal bliss. Without them having influence on the outcome would be absurd. That would make the god a narcissistic psychopath, which frankly doesn't deserve the description "god"
