Abortion Kills.
The heart starts beating around 22 days after conception. After 22 days, the fetus is a living thing. By 6–8 weeks, the brain shows electrical activity. 20 days after the heart starts beating, the brain starts showing activity. 14 days later, the fetus gets physical features. 2 months after conception, the fetus is an identifiable human being, and it should be considered one 22 days after conception. Abortion usually takes place 13 weeks after conception. The fetus is already far in its development. It can feel, and it has all the signs that are necessary for differentiating it from a tumor or a parasite. The baby in the womb can feel, experience pain and fear, and be happy as well.
In America, 1.2 million fetuses averagely die, and most of them already have an intact brain, a heartbeat and little limbs and facial features.
And even with rape, the baby should always be delivered. Even if you gave the child up for adoption, a new, wonderful child has been set into the world. Over 1.2 million personalities, memories and possibilities are lost every year in the US alone.
If you can choose to let a human live, let them live. If you went into a kindergarten, you would only see curious eyes, and you wouldn't differ by rape or consent conceived children. You'd focus on something else.
0.4% of all abortions are because of rape (sources: https://lozierinstitute.org/fact-sheet-reasons-for-abortion/?utm). So naturally, people have a choice. The mother can choose wether or not to engage in coitus, and wether or not to give the child up for adoption.
In summary, Abortion takes wonderful, individual lives, 1.2 million each year, and it can be avoided by decisions such as adoption or disengagement in sexual activity when not in a situation to take care of a child. Christian values are the way to go in all situations, including this one.

It doesn't matter whether you believe that once the fetus has identifiable human features it should be considered one, I am going off of the facts presented by medical professionals. A fetus is considered "alive" at 24 weeks once it reaches the stage of viability, meaning it can survive outside of the womb with/without medical assistance, that's also when it's believed that the fetus can feel pain. 92.8% of all abortions happen before or at 13 weeks far before the fetus is viable or can feel anything.
So 1,130,660/1,200,000 of the aborted fetuses are not alive and are not feeling any pain.
You don't seem to acknowledge the psychological impacts of the foster system. Adoptions from the foster care system have reached a all-time low with the number of foster parents declining each year due to economic instability. Foster youth is twice as likely to repeat a grade, and only about 55.3% graduate high school, with 10% going to college and 3% graduating from college. On the other hand, by age 17 over 50% of foster children will have been arrested, convicted, or detained by the juvenile legal system. And 25% of youth will be in the criminal legal system within 2 years of leaving foster care.
The foster system as it is now, can barely support itself and the children in it. Now you want to add 1.2 Million children to a already degraded system. Is God going to provide funding. Are you and all the Christians in them county going to step up and foot the extra billions of dollars the foster system needs or adopt the 1.2 million kids.
You evangelical bigots like pulling solutions out of your ass. Christian values do nothing but hinder this country, "how will this look in the eyes of God" not how this will affect real children. Not how shoving 1.2 million children EACH YEAR into the foster system will force them to fight for supplies and only make the quality of life for all the children infinitely worse. Instead, it's how do we force the whole country to follow our mythology.
In any case where abortion is considered it is up to the woman, nobody else, Christ isn't going to raise the baby, and neither are you.

If you believe viability should count: Every child is dependent on their parent. Location doesn't matter. You have the same right to live in Washington and in Milwaukee.
The only thing that matters is that heartbeat begins at 22 days.
And now you argue it is better to kill a baby than to put it into a world where it CAN ACTUALLY develop, as we have a thing called Child services! You stated yourself that police monitors foster parents, showing that foster homes ARE SAFE. And most of the foster children saved from abortion go into the adoptive system directly, lowering the chances of being convicted at all due to their past DRAMATICALLY.
Just because you do not believe and wish to mock God, doesn't mean that you are correct. I believe you are very contradicting. You'd rather 1.2 Million PEOPLE DIE each year than them possibly committing little more crime than the usual child. By the way, foster homes have no direct correlation AT ALL with abortions. It is the failure of the system which the democrats have been decomposing for years.

I believe we should elevate our discussion above insults, and talk in a more appropriate and civilized manner. I will reform my ending sentence according to your level of understanding: Let Jesus, the savior, guide us in our actions. This includes Abortion.

Why are you debating someone if you don't believe the facts. Why?
How am I supposed to debate with someone who uses mythology to debate fact.
When the fetus is VIABLE is the medical & legal threshold for it being "alive" there for 24weeks. Therefore 92% abortions happen before it is "alive".

Also you ignored the fact the number of parents adopting is declining combined with the fact the "most foster children saved from abortion" doesn't account for the extra 1.2 million you want to add.

Since 2020 homelessness has increased 12% because people can't afford to live, now you want to overstuff the foster system, which by the way you ignored my point about the worsened quality of life and education on the foster children. If only 10% of all foster children go to college and only 3% graduate, what chance do, they have to survive in a worsening economy.

I believe we should elevate our discussion above fiction and into the reality, you deny facts because your mythology tells you too, then you come on debate site, not to listen, not to learn, not to use facts, but instead to spew indoctrinated rhetoric I've heard a million times before. What really disgusts me even more it that you don't care what happens to the child after it's born, you don't care that is has a good life and education, you don't care that it has safe environment both mentally and psychically to grow up in, and you absolutely don't care about a woman's choice. And you wish to sate that I said I would "force" women to have children. The woman and the man can CHOOSE whether or not to get a child, and if they do, they SHOULDNT ABORT it. If they don't decide to use protection, then they shouldn't kill the baby after!
Now, the WHO estimates about 47,000 women die each year from complications due to unsafe abortion. They want to put themselves at risk AND they want to kill their, by the way chosen, child! That is madness. Women in their 20s accounted for 56.5% of reported abortions in 2022; the two single groups 20–24 and 25–29 each made up about 28%. United States (CDC, 2022):
- Under 20 years old = 8.6% of abortions.
- 91.4% are age 20 or older.
So 91.4% of parents can choose wether or not to concept the child and ALSO wether or not to abort the child, because it puts the women at risk, it is unnecessary because the parents can bring it up and it I cruel because so many babies die each year.
In summary, Abortion is:
- In 99.6% of cases a matter of choice
- In 91.4% of cases something where the parents can raise the child
- And in 100% of cases something cruel
