I was thinking that why do we allow Males to work at female prisons when so many women report Sexual assault. I dont wanna reveal my agruement yet. so I'll leave it at that.

As explained, I created this debate on the thought that I've heard countless times of women reporting sexual assault, sexual harassment and rape. I mean and its the other way around too. For example, male prisoners sexual harass female guards as well which has caused many of them to have longer jail sentencing.

This is my hypothetical, if there was a law that was passed that officers can only work for jails that house the same gendered convicts. Then male officers would have to leave female prisons, freeing up so more space for female officers to get jobs. And same for women as well, they would have to leave male prisons, which would free up space for the male officers forced to leave women prisons. I know it might leave a lot of people jobless. But you have to think, the jail isn't for the officers it's for the prisoners.
