Round 1
Thank you for accepting! My first argument will focus on thoughts.
If one considers thoughts part of human consciousness, then consciousness is inherently something physical. Thoughts are, after all, part of the human brain and one can only think if one has a brain. If one were dead or an inanimate object, such as the air around us, one would not be capable of conscious thought and therefore not be conscious. It is thus plausibly true to argue that consciousness physically lies within the brain, where thoughts also reside. Both thoughts and consciousness only exist as objects within the brain.
The same applies to conscious decisions, conscious movements, and conscious experiences which all necessitate the brain.
