Tell me why I’m wrong
1. Means Matter
Yes, people cause harm but the means they use determine how much harm they can do. A gun allows someone to kill quickly, at a distance, and with little effort compared to other weapons.
2. Lethality DifferencesNot all methods are equally deadly. Firearms have a much higher fatality rate than knives or blunt objects. So while intent matters, the presence of a gun dramatically increases the chance of death.

But the guns aren’t the problem, it’s the people that are using them for harm
Humans do wrong through guns, if there were no guns, there wouldn't be wrong things such as m***er and other crimes

So then let’s ban cars, let’s ban knives, let’s ban water, because people drown others.
If someone placed drugs in front of me and I take them, it’s my fault, not his.
It does not matter if it’s there, it matters if it’s used, a gun can’t fire itself
"Lets ban cars" its a everyday necessity we use it to travel. "Let's ban knives" again its a everyday thing we use it to cut vegetables, sure crimes can be commited but if we see the good side its just a object to cut fruits,vegetables etc. "Lets ban water" im not even gonna say anything. Now if we look at Guns there is no good thing even in self defense someone is getting killed. But if there was not a gun then no one would've been killed. "If someone placed drugs in front of me and I take them, it’s my fault, not his." come on if drugs weren't there it would've never happened + u can remove drugs and it will affect you if u are addicted but u CAN live without it.

Why is self defense not good. If someone breaks into your home to kill you and your family, are you supposed to just hide and pray, or are you going to defend yourself. Maybe be opinionated but I would defend myself. Also we need guns for hunting and police/military. So that gets rid of “if guns weren’t here there wouldn’t be a problem” argument as well. The reason why we have the second amendment is to defend ourselves from a tyrannical government
I never said self defense is bad. I replied to your arguement by saying even in self defense gun does kill someone (i support killing criminals). If the gun wasn't there the death would've never occured.
