Round 1
The messiah from old testament prophecy, describes a literal king who will defeat Israel's enemies, rebuild the temple, and unify the world under his rule. None of which was accomplished by Jesus. He was not a literal king, nor was he from the line of David.

Hi there, u are actually wrong.
1. Several prophecies about the Messiah describe him as being born in Jerusalem (book of Numbers), doing his ministry in Capernaum (Isaiah), and his death and crucifixion on a cross.
2. The prophecy regarding the Messiah didn't necessarily create a picture of him being the deliverer from their colonizers. Isaiah mentions that he was instead to bring good news to the poor, tell prisoners they aren't prisoners no more, heal the blind, and set the down-trodden free.
3. The idea of him being some sort of deliverer was widely misunderstood by some, and even 2 this day. In reality, the Messiah rebuilt the temple(his own body), delivered people from the oppressors(aka, their sinful state). It was never meant 2 be taken literally as one might guess.
