Round 1
So because of modern mainstream Western or "Tropical" astrology, everyone is accepting the false and misleading concept that Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius. This is grossly inaccurate as planetary bodies such as Uranus, Neptune and Pluto have not received any dignities as they represent things beyond the scope of life, Saturn being the "limit".
Now the ancients always knew of these heavenly bodies but, because they could not be seen without the use of a telescope, the ancients associated them with things beyond our earthly comprehension and so they received no rulerships. They are however numbered in the number chart. Uranus being 4, Neptune being assigned the number 7 and Pluto numbers as 0.
Now because in our modern time we do foolishly thought that a few European astronomers "discovered", these worlds, Western astrology to fit their own narratives decided to erroneously assign rulerships to these heavenly bodies. Uranus was assigned to Aquarius, Neptune to Pisces and Pluto was assigned to Scorpio.
In the end they came to realize that the Pisces and Scorpio assignments came to make no sense (because they downgraded Pluto and well Pisces is in reality is very Jupiterian) but they still want to hold on the "fantasy" of Aquarius being ruled by Uranus.
Nothing about Aquarius is Uranian, but, it is very Saturnian. Aquarius is the outward, masculine side of Saturn because Capricorn is Saturn's inward, feminine or receptive side representing the disciplining or the limitation of the self. Now we can easily see Sol(the sun), Luna(the moon), Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn in the sky without the use of a telescope and this is why the seven days of the week are named after them because they were considered the original "gods", to the ancients. Each came to represent a principality relating to existence. Sol, is expression, Luna, emotion, Mercury, communication, Venus, attraction, Mars, action, Jupiter, expansion and because they couldn't see anything beyond Saturn without the use of a telescope Saturn came to symbolize limitation.
Capricorn and Aquarius symbolize this limitation quite clearly. Capricorn as I have stated is inward limitation, which is discipline, while Aquarius is outward limitation which is humility and this is the part that Western mainstream tropical astrology does not want to accept.
Aquarius is "social", as they say because of it's humble nature. You see, if Leo, ruled by Sol, represents expressive confidence, then it's only natural that Aquarius, being the opposite will represent humility. The mighty king and the humble servant! While Sol seeks to empower you, Saturn seeks to break or "humble" you!
Just look at how the constellation is depicted, a partly naked man pouring out water from a pitcher, carrying what looks like load on his back, a laborer, a servant.
And then let's not forget the story of Ganymede which one of Jupiter's moons is named after, the servant boy who the Greek Olympians brought up to the heavens to be their cupbearer and serve them in the heavens. Sol(Leo) and Saturn(Aquarius) are the dynamic of king and servant, master and slave, that's also why Aquarius is associated with the masses, the foundation of the social structure. One is of fire(the ruler), the other of air(the people)!
