Round 1
So to begin my stance on this issue, I would like to point out that for thousands of years before a Bible, Quran, Talmud or any other so called "holy book", mankind existed just fine. These books and writings are less than four thousand years old and dictate the entire existence of humanity which is far older than any of them. These books claim to be inspired words of "God" but, who exactly did this "God", speak to and how exactly did this "God", speak to them? Apparently this "God", doesn't speak to anyone now as it supposedly did then, so what's the difference?
Have you read these books? If you have read any of these books, tell me who wrote these books? Apparently, there must be some unseen power or force, God's friend or a human being. If a human being wrote such books on his own, tell me, you can write whatever you want, but you will never write that I "made a human heart", "two eyes", hands, feet, flame, air, water, or. Because if you write all this in your book, the readers will definitely ask you to do it again and will teach you to do it. But God can do all this whenever he wants. Because he is the real creator of the universe.
Round 2
"Creator of the universe", you say? Ok how did you come to find out about this "Creator"? It was taught to you from a child to "believe" in this so called "Creator". Ok, so this "Creator", "created" everything right? That means that it created good as well as evil. So why would this good and benevolent, all powerful, all knowing "God", create something to challenge it? It seems a little off to me.
Here is another point! This "God" created everything, so that means it created men that are masters and men that are slaves, because you do know that for thousands of years that human beings have brutally and bitterly enslaved other human beings right? Now this "God", through it's"divinely inspired" writings has professed to be an all good and benevolent "God", that loves ALL of it's creation, including the slaves.
But that makes absolutely no sense! So it's like this all good, holy and benevolent "God", encourages a few of it's creation to brutally and bitterly oppress and enslave others of it's creation? If this is the case, then your "God", is not all good because, it is well known as quoted in the film 'Batman vs Superman' and I quote, "Anything that is all good, cannot be all powerful because anything that is all powerful cannot be all good"!
So if there is such a thing as an all good and benevolent "Creator God" and it's not all good then it must be a tyrant and why would I consciously want to bow down and worship a tyrant? Then it will only mean this "God" wants me to worship it out of fear not love and that is not logical for a benevolent, supreme "Creator".
Look dear, when you were not even born, can you tell me where you were before coming to this world? And today when you can read, see, understand everything, you could have become an engineer with your own thinking, with your own decision. But in childhood, your parents must have hidden a lot from you. They would not have told you many things. Who did they worship, what power or powerful being did they believe in, then who were their parents, then those before them, this ongoing chain would have met your parents for about 1000 years, going somewhere and at the beginning you would have met a human couple who were the first couple in this world. Now I ask you, can you tell me your entire family tree? Probably never because you were not present in this world then. Look at yourself, why were you born as a human, maybe you would have been born in the form of some nice animal like a peacock, a deer, or a lion. But the Creator knows when and where to create you, but the only difference is that you have forgotten your birth, just like your family tree. You don't know who the first man in this world was and where he came from, who created him?
Round 3
Only the poor and ignorant worship this "God", that you speak of because that is the purpose it was invented for, as a tool of control by those who have knowledge. You see, in every society and civilization dating back thousands of years it has always been the same thing.
You have an elite class of people with knowledge and understanding who use their knowledge to rule over the ignorant. The knowledge they possess makes them invent and create things which they use to control the masses. The ignorant peoples they rule over are fascinated by their inventions and attribute them to something higher because they themselves didn't have the sense to invent them.
The elite use this ignorance against the masses by making up elaborate stories of supernatural powers and that the knowledge they possess came from the "gods", above. For example, if you had the knowledge of solar eclipses thousands of years ago but the average person didn't and you knew when they would occur, you could deceive them into believing that "God" or whatever the deity was is going to block out the Sun or the great light or whatever.
"God" was created as a means for the knowledgeable and intelligent to have control over and rule over the ignorant. This is why kings ruled over people through "divine right", using hidden knowledge they have to rule over the ignorant masses who didn't. The kings ruled how they wished, enslaved people, treated them badly and did as they pleased, all in the name of an imaginary "good and benevolent God". This "God", doesn't come to the aid of the people and leaves them to the mercy of the king it elected because I guess it's to busy to help the "poor and weak".
"God" is a delusion, a fantasy we created to outsource our personal power to something else because for thousands of years the masses of us couldn't help ourselves. This delusion continues because the masses of the world still choose to remain in ignorance while a few elite people with vast knowledge wield unfathomable power over them. The masses always believing that "God" will "save them", do nothing to bring change while the elite class take advantage of them, because they believe "God", will help them. And this is why things are the way they are, the "poor and weak" believing that an all powerful and benevolent "God" will come to save them from the powerful!
If you think that you are a slave to a powerful king, then it is your own thinking. You do not search, you do not think with your mind. If the king has ruled over the weak for thousands of years, then in every era, someone who rebelled against the king and freed the oppressed from the oppression of the king was also born in the same era. If you read history, then someone or the other rose up against all the kings who passed by. This is the reason that if the king considered himself equal to God, to eliminate him, God would bring before him from among his chosen servants, just like today's living example "Pharaoh" is still an example for his mummified world. But unfortunately, in this world, you are also standing in the ranks of those who do not believe in him. If tomorrow, after death, you actually encounter this same God, what will you do, what will you say? How will you answer? Today, he has told you all his signs. If he resurrects you after death and asks you questions, what will your answer be?
Your idea that God is only talking to people when the Bible was written and not now is completely false. God always talks to us if you talk to him as well (prayer). And correct me if im wrong but did you not also say you didn’t know how these writers knew what to write. God told them what to write. You might be familiar with the painting from the early 17th century called “Saint Matthew and The Angel”. It depicts the angel writing for Saint Matthew, or the angel grabbing and writing with Saint Matthews hand. This was then changed to the Angel just telling Matthew what to say because, the earlier painting some Catholics thought that it created the idea of God sending Angels and forcing people to do stuff for Him. Now it just has the Angel “Whispering into Matthews ear”. So yes God was technically the author but he just had people write it down for him. Think of it like the Odyssey. There are so many different translations of it but there is that one original by Homer. And im not comparing Homer to God but you get what I mean.
