Round 1
Pro
#1
Gender is an open variable meaning it has an infinite number of potential values, allows for subjective and self determined criteria, and can change over time. In data science and statistical research, open variables cannot be used to establish highly accurate behavioral forecasts. This limitation stems from several foundational principles of data analysis.

On the other hand, biological sex is uniquely relevant across medical, safety, and social domains because it provides an immutable universally stands and physically verifiable baseline. Unlike open or self defined variables, the framework of biological sex eliminates subjective noise. This allows data scientists, physicians, and policy makers to establish concrete causal relationships and maximize institutional safety.

When a term is expanded to have limitless options it no longer has the ability to express anything specific. This is the problem with gender. On the other hand, sex is an immutable truth that allows for shared understanding across all time and culture.
