We should become part of a separate entity Affiliate Trinity (I am pro - I also use AI, so please be aware of that when accepting the debate)

Proposition
DebateArt, Historium, and my political discussion website should become part of an Affiliate Trinity.
Definitions
For the purposes of this debate:
Affiliate Trinity refers to three independent websites that voluntarily promote and support one another while remaining entirely separate organisations. There is no suggestion of shared ownership, management, finances, or moderation.
Historium is an academic history and historical research platform dedicated to evidence-based discussion of history and archaeology.
The political website is a platform dedicated to discussion of politics, public policy, economics, philosophy, and current affairs.
DebateArt is the structured debate platform on which this debate is taking place.
The Proposal
The proposal is that the three platforms establish an informal partnership whereby they encourage users to participate across all three communities.
Each website would continue serving its own distinct purpose:
Historium would specialise in historical research, archaeological discussion, and source collection.
The political website would focus on political discussion, policy development, philosophy, and current affairs.
DebateArt would remain the platform where structured, formal debates take place.
Rather than competing with one another, the three communities could complement one another by allowing users to research a subject on one platform, discuss it more broadly on another, and finally test their arguments in formal debate on DebateArt.
Potential Benefits
Supporters may argue that such an arrangement could:
Increase the quality of debate by encouraging better research.
Help users distinguish between historical research, political discussion, and formal debating.
Introduce new members to each community.
Encourage evidence-based discussion across multiple platforms.
Allow each website to retain its own identity while benefiting from cross-promotion.
Strengthen online communities dedicated to civil, reasoned discussion.
Potential Concerns
Opponents may argue that:
No affiliation is necessary.
Cross-promotion provides little practical benefit.
The communities serve sufficiently different audiences.
There are moderation, branding, or administrative difficulties.
DebateArt should remain entirely independent of external communities.
Any reasonable objections to the proposal are welcome.
Scope
This debate concerns whether such an Affiliate Trinity would be beneficial in principle.
It is not a debate about:
ownership of any website;
forcing any organisation into an agreement;
financial arrangements;
legal contracts;
moderation policies.
The discussion is simply whether an informal, voluntary affiliation would be a positive idea.
Debate Conduct
Participants are encouraged to support their arguments with logical reasoning, practical considerations, examples from other online communities where appropriate, and respectful discussion.
Personal attacks and off-topic arguments should be avoided.
Disclosure
I will be arguing the Pro position.
I may use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and proofreading. This is disclosed openly. My opponent is equally welcome to use AI assistance if they wish. The debate should be judged on the strength of the arguments presented rather than the tools used to prepare them.
