. Is it ever acceptable for someone to break the law in order to seek justice when there is no functioning legal system?

Justices exists to protect people . laws are only onw way to achieve that goal but when there is no functioning legal system no in dependent courts no police who product who product citizens  and no authority willing to punish wrongdoing  the law loses its purpose . at that point following the law blindly may actually protect criminals instead of innocents people.  imagine a community where armed groups control everything . a family is attacked their property is taken and there is no court to hear their case. the police either do not exist or work  for those criminals should that family simply accept their suffering because breaking the laws is technically illegal ? i believe the answer is no . history gives us many examples . during oppressive regimes and occupations  people often broke unjust laws to reeecue innocent lives  hide victims or resist tyranny  . today many of those actions are remembered not as crimes but as acts of courage. if they had obeyed every laws many innocent people would never have survived . my opponents may argue that allowing people to break the law creates chaos . but our motions does not say people should ignore laws whenever they want . it asks whether it is ever acceptable, especially when there is no  functioning  legal system. that is a very limited and extraordinary situation. when justice cannot be obtained through legal means because those legal means no longer exist, moral responsibility becomes more important than legal obedience .there is also a difference between revenge and justice. we are not defending violence for personal satisfaction. we are defending necessary actions taken to protect innocent people, stop serious harm, or hold obvious criminals accountable when there is literally no legal institution capable of doing so. a law without justice is only a rule on paper. if the system completely fails, people should not be forced to watch injustice continue simply because they fear breaking a law that no longer serves its purpose
