I’m sorry to hear that! I was looking forward to a debate!

While my opponent conceded, it feels odd to not offer an argument, so here is something brief.

We know Evolution is true, as we can observe it happening in real time. 

For example, the Italian wall lizards.

These are insect eating lizards introduced to an island, but due to lack of their original food sources, managed to rapidly evolve to eat vegetation; which included changes to the internal digestive tract to facilitate it.

As Evolution is clearly observed happening, whilst creation is not; and while Evolution must occur for evolution to be true, there is no necessity for organisms to evolve if they were created: one must only conclude that evolution is the better explanation of the two.
