The Big Bang is, by definition, a scientific theory.
It is a name given to a particular scientific model that adheres to knowledge gained through the scientific process.
Science is also a very broad term and mostly pertains to the pursuit of knowledge in general and is very closely related to philosophy.
In the face of everything I have just said, it seems that everything about the big bang is scientific.
