Pro lifer: Scientists confirm a zygote is a human being!

Me: According to you, scientists can't even define what a woman is.  Why do you only trust the scientists when it benefits your team?

Pro lifers: Trans science is new.  Zygote science is not!

Me: How old does the science have to be before you believe it?  Really, any number you select is going to be arbitrary.

Well, people only trust science when it suits them.

Science does say that spanking is bad, but most people still spank children.

@Best.Korea
I haven't really studied the "spanking your child" issue that much.

What links do you know of that confirm your position?

At this point, I might do my best to play Devils Advocate.

A human zygote is a human zygote.

End of story.

Abortion is a separate issue.

And  Trans:

And as I just stated in another of your threads...Women produce eggs. Though if their production systems have been disabled, they are reproductively disabled women.

Whereas men who have chopped of their dicks and balls and call themselves Tiffany, are just that...Though also reproductively disabled.

I guess you have to ask the scientist who says these things. Let them explain it to you

Well, I hope it wont derail the topic, but basically all studies show that spanking doesnt work.

A human zygote is a human zygote.

End of story.
A human foreskin is a human foreskin.  What's your point?

Abortion is a separate issue.
Then why do pro lifers have a strong tendency to believe transgenderism is not accurate and vice versa?

And as I just stated in another of your threads...Women produce eggs. Though if their production systems have been disabled, they are reproductively disabled women.

Whereas men who have chopped of their dicks and balls and call themselves Tiffany, are just that...Though also reproductively disabled.
I addressed this in that thread.

It is  estimated that about 117 billion people have ever been born on Earth since 190,000 B.C.E. and will reach 121 billion by 2050.

If it's living tissue and of human origin then it's living human tissue.

And abortion is the removal and destruction of living tissue from a host.

If people want to be sentimental about it, then that's their choice.

Well OP is correct that "Scientists say X. Therefore X is true." is an bad argument. It's always invalid and almost always weak just like all appeals to authority.

If you define an "authority" as an entity which makes a good argument, then it's a proxy which shouldn't be brought up when debating (where there is time and the best argument should be the focus). If you define an authority in any other way then it's simply a weak argument.
