Why do you think people troll ?
Is it because you personally offended them on a sensitive subject?
Why do you think people ad hominem attack in a debate?
When you try to be peaceful, civil, mature and reason with them, that's when they troll harder.
Anyone experience that, chime in everybody, trolls, kids included.
