Is it wrong to make sexist humor?

Is it wrong to make jokes about the plus size, under size, LGBT, any group to include handicap mentally and physically?

How does this differ from yo' momma jokes?

A joke where no one is offended is usually less funny.

It seems these days it's okay to hatefully and brutally ridicule men, Caucasians, Christians, atheists or heterosexuals those that are 2 or 3 of those.

However, mocking others takes finesse and gaslighting to pretend you arents being spiteful and vicious.

Yet Sacha Baron Cohen the hypocritical scumbag of the modern era of comedy, got away with culturally appropriating and ridiculing Islamic cultures and real life people multiple times. His character Ali G is actually blackface but because he didn't paint his face brown/black and just acted Jamaican/British, he got away with it.

In an ideal world we could ridicule anyone, this is not an ideal world and feelings get hurt. Be wise of context and situation.

Is it wrong.
Who's to say?

Humans have an ongoing system of making up and adapting to new stuff.

As a part of that system, humour and offence therefore also change accordingly.

The problem is that pre-programmed units do not always keep up with current thinking trends and changes in social expectation.

Sacha Baron Cohen, worked appropriately.

The fact that he might not do quite so appropriately now, is the fact that he might not do quite so appropriately now.

Relative to change, he perhaps works differently now.

Then and now are not the same.

Then was and now is.

Though recognising that the past cannot be altered is something that certain trend setters would rather not come to terms with.

Which I find, is a trait that is best ignored.

Whereas a lot of people love to ride the post event vilification train.
