Thats a strange name, given that America isnt even mentioned in the Bible, and in the Bible the most similar nation to America is Sodom.

The issue was about audacity, not dishonesty. But of we want to talk about dishonesty it's notable that the guy pretending to be a Bible lover is a man who's been a public figure his entire adult life and yet no one has ever seen him inside a church till he ran for president, couldn't name a single bible verse that was special to him and couldn't even pronounce "two" Corinthians. The guy is a con in everything he does.

I took speech therapy as a kid I still struggle to pronounce words like world or water. It's besides the point though. Anybody that has looked into his biography knows Trump has attended church and its one that is Christian but leans heavy on new thought philosophy/theology. It's not exactly a philosophy that leans heavily on memorizing bible verses. 
.
New thought is kinda niche so let me explain it in another way. Imagine you go to listen to prosperity gospel. You could go to a prosperity gospel church everyday and hear lots about planting seeds by giving your money to the pastor and the seed will return to you 19 fold and the more faith and money you give the more money you will have. 

It's not a church where you are getting bible quotes. Even John 3:16 which is the normal go to answer for Christians is rarely if ever going to come up in a new thought or prosperity gospel church.

I will also add that many Christians believe that the bill of rightsbis divinely inspired, though it isn't discussed much openly
