If you were the survivor, you should have been happy to have suspicion on you as it reduced the odds you would be a night kill. You didn't have to claim this early to avoid the lynch.

You lock people in that are unreadable or inactive this is what loses us games. 

I mean one of you and I think it was mharman even said they would prefer to lynch somebody they slightly town read over an inactive and inactives should always be in the scum pool unless they get investigated or something (or have a great claim) so it's dumb.

We need to progress this game . Let's get a claim from Buddanoos and Austin and then lynch earth and move onto dp2 anyone whose awake should have a solid town block already so most the work is done if we just behave like we should

And yeah it matters because I think scum would be more averse to clarifying than town. Earth could have the fake claim in the back of his mind but figure how might want to claim a show after 2000, plus scum isn't as concerned with being truthful.

So, outside of Mikal, what are your thoughts on everyone else?

I probably won’t have time to write out an extensive reads posts this day phase. I’ve got a busy weekend, and have been trying to check in and read up when I can. I have to formulate my thoughts on people, I’ll provide a read list by day phase 2. For now I buy earths claim, I still think we should pressure Austin and moozer for activity. Moozer needs to claim since he’s been on now. Earth if he isn’t killed by the time we get late in the game we will know he’s likely scum, but I don’t think mafia would risk keeping him alive that long if he’s telling the truth and town.

The question was when the show started. I'll give you some credit for not saying it "started" after 2000 though, looking back that's a sign you're telling the truth.

Exactly but they would still have to kill him. We let him get to lylo, if he gets that far we know he’s scum. Better than getting to lylo and having it be a gamble.

Which means if he's scum, we have to identify the other two first, and finding 2/10 is harder than finding 3/11. Also if LYLO is 3 town vs 2 scum, then we mislynch, scum could kill Earth at night and then lynch the third town member.

As for why that matters, if Earth is scum and we lynch him, then we'd have more days before we reach LYLO. He's not my top lynch yet though.

Still not home but glancing through things. My fear with that claim is if there is a godfather in the game, or a lawyer, that claim is almost full proof. You could latch a lawyer onto it perma or he could just be go godfather and if an innocent result comes back. He’s basically hard cleared for the entire game. 

I didn’t mean the show was obscure. I meant the role was obscure. Still want to go back and read through his posts but he’s got very annoyed and confrontational at being questioned about the claim. Not sure if that is normal for him. 

we are going to have to rely fully on behavior with him.
