According to mafiascum, the default version only skips day phases regardless of how they die. Not really fair to town, so it often just applies to lynches. I guess your version probably isn't that rare.

oops all caps, but yeah savant that role is very strong for town, i dont think you should hold onto it i would even volunteer myself to have you use your role on, because I am tired of having to defend myself against the same arguments all the time but i could get town confirmed it would help with the poe. you should consider using it on me, even mikal

Yeah i understand its a big risk. I am trying to decide if its worth it numbers wise. Would the game end? if not it could help with a ton of poe, What if you just get night killed anyway after today without using it though?

Would we be at numbers disadvantage if we lost an extra townie? Because if the payoff was a succesful lynch it could be worth it, but if we mislynch on top of losing you I can see it being really bad

Yes, we get one less lynch total. If the person I pick is innocent, we save a lynch and sacrifice me instead of them. But if the person we would have lynched is guilty anyway, then I died losing us a lynch for nothing.

Okay fair enough. I can see how using it late in the game can be bad.. just curious is there any reason you didn't use this earlier in the game? Why not on whiteflame?

Okay here's where I am at.

Mikal,  I still think he's scum. Yay its gonna be so fun arguing with him over and over again this whole day phase, but NOTHING he's done and I mean NOTHING has helped the town. We trusted him with the item last day phase and what did he do with it? NOTHING. Why would town hold off on using an item, when it puts them at risk of dying? And he role copped Moozer?! Moozer is already town confirmed by earth. I just think this was such a waste! We also tested him! we knew he was popular! Why is anyone still town-reading this guy...

I am pretty confident earth and moozer are both town still, have been all game. Austin is more or less confirmed, I know there is a chance he is scum gladiator, but I don't see it, and plus he was accidentally confirmed by not submitting his trivia answer.

So mikals partner has to be mharman or savant. I am leaning savant out the two based on behavior. I don't think he should have held on to his role this long, because now there is no way to prove him without basically risking the game, which is very convienent. I would even offer myself up to be used by his role. But we can't confirm him or anyone else with his role so it was a waste! And we can't confirm mharman either so he is still in the poe, but honestly i dont see why mafia would ever target him after he claimed anyway, so he was kind of doomed to never be able to prove his role the second he claimed.

My vote for today would be to lynch mikal, he is my strongest scum read, and maybe mafia will narrow down the pool for us tomorrow with a night kill, though I bet they just kill austin anyway. But who knows. Mikals partner has to be between mharman and savant though but I think we lynch mikal and worry about his partner tomorrow since its less sure.

But we got a free mafia lynched on dp1. If there was any time we could afford it, it was before whiteflame died. We could have confirmed whiteflame last day phase, and if we lynched scum afterwards it would have been a worthwhile trade. Or even if you didn't use it on whiteflame, if you had caught scum with it. But it might be too late to use your role now.

Mikal's role will at least narrow PoE for us if he's town. Lynching Earth today and using the sensor hedges our bets.

You, Moozer, Austin, and Earth all vote for Earth. Whoever gets the sensor will see how many scum were on the Earth lynch. If there were none, then we know you are clear. Even in a scenario where both you are Earth are innocent, PoE is basically narrowed to Mharman, me, and Mikal.

I mean I do agree, but Mikal had a reason for double-checking that I think he explained. Also he might only get the role, so Moozer he could verify being "popular townie" whereas if he verifies that Mharman is the grandfather for example, it doesn't determine affiliation.

I also think Earth is town, but if he has the politician, then not lynching him today throws the game. If it's not him, then we still get another lynch tomorrow, and if we know your affiliation, then we have good odds tmrw.
