Allowing no-vote debates to clock-out is what comes out of back-end of bull.

Just wondering: What is your viewpoint in the website as a MOD. Not emotionally or personally, like technically, as in control panels and such.

The setup we have is functional, works OK for what we need on a basic level. There are a lot of things I'd prefer to be able to do, including removing votes after the voting period for a debate has ended (there have been instances of people taking advantage of that loophole) and expanding the voting period on a debate or just allowing voting to continue past the end of the voting period. I think the site could also benefit from making some elements of what we do automatic.

You're in the Debate Dev Team discord.
Which I have found to be another obstacle because it seems before I can get anywhere with that, I must commit tor completing a tutorial to learn the programming language. I'm not a programmer and totally unfamiliar with that side of computing. I'm a user, not a builder, and my offer of assistance was strictly in my realm of expertise: graphic design & illustration, not coding. Can I get around that?

Yes. Savant was inquiring about graphic designers on DART.

Better if these things didn't clock out but went to a limbo period where they would end instantly upon a single vote, allowing for a reasonable period of time (eg 72 hours) for the vote to be reported and taken down. If the vote remains then it finishes the debate. If it gets removed then the debate returns to the state where it waits for a vote.

Or perhaps theres some other solution.
