Some older debates on Debate.org, There was a lot more debates on Homosexuality for instance, due to various law changes in America around that time.
But it's kind of rolled past, new generation new normal, such as Gays in the US military.
LGBT might be a more of a current topic in India.
But it's interesting, different culture, different history, different norms, different debates?
I don't think we 'need people to be rude to have honest or interesting debates,
I think polite is better,
People get offended at times by rudeness, stops being about debating the topic, and instead more about slinging insults.

I imagine their viewpoints have and 'are still evolving.
Maybe they've changed some views.
