I was trying to get a general idea of the theme. Say you character was Albert Einstein. Instead of saying "Discovered general relativity" you would say "known for scientific contributions." Sorry if I made that unclear.

It’s always framed the same and always is trying to understand the logic for why you read him. I don’t think he’s ever actually scum hunting but trying to understand why he seems scummy and oddly it’s a town tell lol

Here are the reads I promised.
Casey - Town Lean - Mostly for being forthcoming about character information and scum hunting early, which they tended to avoid in the last two games but did as town. I think Casey is the easiest player for me to read in general.
Earth - Town Lean - Not much to go off of, but town reading another player off the bat is usually a good sign as it's not very opportunistic.
Pie - Town Lean - If the theme is what I think it is, then there's a character who is almost certainly in the game, and Pie is the only player it can be.
Ultra - Null - Hasn't been active enough in previous games for me to know their personality. Play so far seems to be going with the flow but nothing blatantly scummy.
Wylted - Null - I want to town read for claiming early, but the role claim seems like a go-to fake claim for scum since I've never seen it before and it's basically negative utility. Especially since Luna said no fake claims were provided for scum.
Banana - Null - Asked for soft claims without providing one, that was a scum tell before. But the context here is different since it wasn't clear what type of soft claims we should be getting. Don't know how to read that.
Vader - Null - Not enough activity to judge.
Mikal - Scum Lean - The reaction tests never seem to help town in my experience, and Mikal seems to rely on them as scum. I can never read Mikal super well, but he's not giving me any great reasons to town read him. And his play overall seems like it's hedging his bets.

That’s fair, but you’ve only evaluated his town games. You have to compare it to his scum games. This guy was the mastermind of a double fake CC scum win if I remember correctly.

Okay but this is basically another way of saying "gauging reactions" which again is the logic behind reaction tests. I don't think they work, and I don't think you really use them as town.
Gonna have to take a step back from Mikal for a while bc if he's town I'm just gonna tunnel. Either there's something I'm just not getting or he's arguing very weirdly.

I mean you are wrong but not sure where to point to because ddo is deleted. I think they do work because how people respond is imperative to cross checking behavior.
Scum tend to be opportunistic and sometimes less aggressive.
For example. Playing passive and not making a good case for lie. You scum read. Are you being opportunistic and seeing what sticks or are you town being aggressive. I tend to think town after seeing these interactions because I don’t think scum would keep pushing when they could join on super. Would scum try to 1v1 me this early
Casey read me as scum right after that. We’re they trying to have something stick?
It gives you info to gauge and helps you evaluate motives
Hi, I think there is something to the autism theory, I researched my character and it seems he falls into it as well even though it isn’t an official diagnosis for him people believe he was. Nothing about animal rights though as far as I know. My pm mentions nothing about it though

I don’t like savants behavior. For one I agree that it was wierd that he defended pie like that. For two his reads are oddly undecisive despite having a heavy opinion about a lot of people , there’s way too many “null” reads like he’s putting them there purposefully despite having an opinion. And his vibe towards Mikal is wierd I wouldn’t expect him to tunnel him hard than back off when Mikal gave him the basest resistance.

As for other reads I think Mikal seems townie so far, he is trying to push the game forward and I like the reaction tests. Pie feels normal pie town leading and forming blocks. Casey is town and I think I know her character if the theme is what I think it is. Wylteds claim seems legit.
Ultra I’m unsure of and I also don’t like his initial start into the day phase just like pie. I’d also like to see more from Vader. I think I’m missing one.

We're six pages in. Only half the players have meaningfully contributed so far. I'm not going to pull a read out of thin air until I've seen a decent amount of activity from someone.
I wouldn’t expect him to tunnel him hard than back off when Mikal gave him the basest resistance.
I still scum read Mikal but if he's town I don't want to tunnel him all day phase.
I like the reaction tests.
