In fact, generally, girls out perform boys in all areas of education. 

Not the area of specialising and changing thing. Women learn wider range easier, men break moulds and invent far more often.

That's why the male is to be older than the female. On average that is the disparity in relationship marriage.

So the maturity matches better or is even superior from the man.

Certainly for young girls who are forced upon lecherous older men.

But I've no respect for that type of relationship.

Especially if the girl is denied educational opportunities.

I reside with the truth. Men and women are not completely equal. You even stated some unequal performance standards and there's more to go with that.

So there will have to be some dominance somewhere. A person taking on another's name is not equality and not a partnership. There's some recognition of that in marriage.  

Now there are folks that push for the illusion of complete equality, push for partnership, shun away from leadership, shun away from obedience and reject name changing or accept a compromise with a hyphenated name.

So men and women often times are of different ages typically the man is older due to the unequal growth of maturity, the gravitation is to a matching level which also can supercede.

So are you embarrassed or afraid to name you place of residence?

And in old style patriarchal societies, if you perpetually enforce gender inequality, then that will be the outcome for women.

And marriage and name taking is a traditional but unnecessary contractual arrangement, outdated in a lot of progressive societies.

And inequality is an unavoidable state of two people in the same room...Whether that be two males, two females or a male and a female.

How people intellectually apply their superiority will vary, largely due to social conditioning...Obeyance and subservience is one example...Respect and tolerance is another.

So I'm guessing that you were not taught to appreciate the existence of a woman in the same way that I was...For you she is basically a mother, and a slave who's job it is to wash your dirty underwear.

Whereas I know how to operate a washing machine.

FYI, my wife of 40 years is 2 years older than me.  She tells her friends that I am her boy toy.
