Smart people are less likely to reproduce, evolution favors stupid people

Basically, smart people tend to overthink, while stupid people act and get things done. This is why a smart person will overthink on how to approach a girl, while a stupid person will just do it. Smart person will also overthink about the world and science, which prevents him from putting more effort into getting girls. While smart person studies and does math, stupid person makes friends and gets girls. The current education system punishes smart people in every way possible. Smart people have to spend their entire childhood studying and working, thus their social skills degrade. This is why countries with highest IQ and lots of studying, like Japan, have such low birth rates because studying made people retarded. They forgot that the only purpose of life is to survive and reproduce. In this sense, the more education person gets, the less capable person becomes in having a family. This is because education teaches you specifically how to be obedient to the system and work, and thus pushes out thoughts about family. Whats even dumber is that stupid person is actually more useful to society than smart person, because stupid person reproduces much more and many of those kids will be smart, and those which are stupid will reproduce more and generally, with greater quantity of people, greater is the number of smart people among them.

This subject is more nuanced. 

Overall IQ is meaningless to survival, under a certain set of circumstances. The type of intelligence that is more compatible with the environment means survival. 

A high IQ mathematician that’s booksmart and a genius on paper is unlikely to survive in an area where there’s a high rate of violent crime compared to a working-class civilian that’s considered a grunt, but is street-savvy if education is not valued. 

The reverse is also true. In an environment that is academically competitive, the working-class grunt becomes chronically unemployable while the mathematician is more likely to thrive successfully.

Overthinking is an evolutionary necessity, if humans or an AI are ever to escape this Earthly prison.

Whatever it is, it's not that intelligent people don't like to have children, rather they are very cautious with their decisions. Having children is a transcendental step in everyone's life, so intelligent people assess very carefully if they are in a good moment to do so. If not, they just don't. Example, Elon Musk, it's very easy for him to recommend  having all the children we can when he wipes his ass with 100 dollar bills. 

It's different when it comes to stupid people, they don't even think when they put it in the first girl they come across. Most of these people have unwanted children, that's why they have a lot of them.

So, it's a matter of thinking your next move. Intelligent people control better their instincts because they think in the consequences, while stupid people behave like animals.
