I suppose the Cop could be a reference to the fact that if you hold a pressure plate, you can see wiring in the vicinity... Seems like a bad justification, but my justification is also pretty bad.
Also, TIL that you can use pressure plates to detect traps, hence the cop powers.

Hello. I am the item called the ‘pressure plate’ and i have a JOAT style role where only one of the abilities make sense thematically. I have a 3x cop ability, a 1x poisoner ability and a 1x bomb ability. I will lead you to victory town, so long as you don’t let scum lead you down the garden path.
Looks like irontoaster has a... diverse JOAT role. Based on the conversation that has gone on over it, I can at least understand where some of those elements are coming from, but it's surprising to have someone who is a Cop and a Poisoner. Just a weird fusion of roles. The Bomb makes some sense as a passive role that could deter a scum NK, and I could see how each of these could work (the Cop if I squint) with the Pressure Plate claim. Anyway, while I'm not sure what to make of it, fake claiming a Cop up front would be ballsy, so he'd have to know there is no Cop in the game to do this. Can't see much chance that he's scum.
Im not trolling. Given my weird character and extremely unorthodox role, i figure this is some wild west mafia where you cant meta your way to victory so im going with a bold strategy.
Mikal sus af. No mass claims please. Only helps mafia at this point to work out who is the Nurse/Doctor. Crafting tables are a much broader category than different coloured pressure plates with slightly different effects. Doesnt seem weird that lunatic is a specific table for his specific role, whatever it is, especially when we have no information. Claim or im leading a wagon on you.

First of all, crafting tables are called work benches if we go by in-game vernacular and they are the most important item in the game.
It makes perfect sense to be an alchemy table or a crystal ball rather than ‘work benches’ as an entire category.
Acting as though claiming to be a specific bench is akin to claiming to be a red bird and a blue bird is such a stretch. Add to the fact that you initially thought he claimed his full character as ‘crafting station’ which isnt a thing while knowing that there are multiple types of pressure plates makes me think that you are fake scum hunting.
Also, you keep trying to make me, who has hard claimed cop, out to be scum for nonsense reasons. I am THE pressure plate. Not pressure plate. Not pressure plates.
