Why do you feel the need to defend Lunatic?
First of all, i dont trust him at all. But i dont think him claiming to be a crafting table is scummy and will say so.

I thought the bomb only killed the player who targets the bomb for the kill. Can yours kill multiple players?

I took a gamble claiming my character because I believe it sounds rather scummy, on account of pressure plates being a big pain in the arse within the game. I claimed my role because of the rather OP but volatile nature of my role combination, the worst thing that could happen for town is the doctor tries to protect us both up or for me to get lynched early on before I can get some reads on people.
Why is it bad if a Doctor protects you?

The mafia could come for me and sacrifice one of their members but 1 for 1 exchange is an outcome I can live with. Maybe they have a roleblocker too but a gamble is a gamble.
So you’re a passive Bomb? And anyone that visits you explodes?

I think you’re barking up the wrong tree here and focusing too much on details. Old DDO town tend to gambit a lot and there is reasons for them doing so. You don’t see it as much with the current player pool but town gambits were more common on DDO and the more you focus on the details the more likely you are to risk exposing said gambit. I’d focus more on thinking “why we he do this as scum” than trying to catch him in some kind of slip.

Yeah don’t remember that. I know I had made plenty of bad calls out of confidence in 2018, so my playstyle is pretty different now. I’d like to think I’m more humble with things like that. I don’t even think current me would do that as scum now.

Realizing I want a little more clarity on this. I'm OK with you avoiding precisely specifying this role, but since this likely impacts multiple night actions, I'm going to ask: are you specifically saying the doctor shouldn't visit you, or are you saying no town role should?

I am specifically saying the doctor shouldnt visit me because it would be a disaster to lose the cop and the doctor, plus whoever the mafia kill, in one night. Any one can get it though. Mafia should all visit me, definitely.

So that's interesting. I think you have to SOP claim there but I feel like this is extremely useful if town don't fuck this up. From my understanding of a bomb it's usually passive...so yeah this is a pretty good claim.

I feel like iron is likely town because this is the safe option. If you wanted to make a funny gambit you can randomly claim a 3x cop and then proceed to not elaborate and have mafia kill you. Would've been funny but extremely risky lol

I honestly see a bit of fluff between Mikal and TV tbh. I feel like I've seen this from Mikal as town trying to crack scum on little things to hunt for them. But then again there's been a lot of talk from him on slips and such.  There is a real possibility of a 3p this game IMO so could he be some kind of executioner. Feels a bit weird for him to target Luna so quickly early on even from a hunch. It would be pretty bold to scum read him as 3p but want to keep reading

It breaks down whether this theory is correct. Almost everyone who has claimed and even softed is a category. 

There are thousands of items and enemies in this game. Why would the mod give fake claims if that’s the case? Theme has to be simple enough to justify a fake claim and in that case it makes since for it to be more narrow. Again my character justifies this, TVs character that he claimed justified this (there are multiple colors ld this) and I believe Joebob said he was a category. 

I think the items will be shit sword, axe, table etc 

Not xxx sword xxx table 

If there where that many options he would not give out fake claims as everyone could just claim a table. 

I think the theme is simple enough to notice and Luna claiming a subset of crafting station is weird. Hes the only person this far who is claimed a subset. 

Enemies have colors in the game 

Bird could be green bird etc 

Where as I suspect it would just be bird. 


Narrowing it down just helps confirm this.

Don't really have any solid reads but I do have a slight town read on iron. I think there decision to claim is relatively towny. I think you risk way more not claiming than you do claiming. For one, with the role you have you can guarantee yourself a certain amount of results without being targetted (hypothetically speaking). The worst outcome is that multiple town protective come and heal you and then they all die lol (from what I know, I was in a call with mikal once and he talked about a bomb acting this way (I asked Mharm too as well to clarify)). Way to risky and I think iron played it right.

I don't know iron's meta tbh so can't really go off behavior alone. Any vets who've played with them can comment
