Terraria Mafia #1 - DP1

Sorry for not being more active so far today. Just skimmed through the DP on my break, will reread when I get home and share more thoughts. Right now, Mikal vs Toaster is giving me town v town vibes. As for me, I am an individual item. Singular, not plural. My justification also kind of sucks.

I feel like for someone relatively newer to mafia with theme knowledge, JoeBob seems to helping out town. He's helping with the theme analysis and putting substantive posts compared to what I've seen from other games. Right now feel like it's a slight town read but again I haven't seen him play in quite some time so my opinion can change. He also said his item is vital as well, not really fan of this but we'll see where this takes us

Well after all that I don't have much substantive reads to give

Iron is slight town
JoeBob is slight town
Mikal is acting town ish but he's also very nit picky and a bit pushy, a bit more than I normally see from him, so null
Luna is still null. I think the pattern with You are (x) is so small and this game has been curated so well, I don't think Mharman makes his theme that. Catching a fake claim is the obvious reasoning for the push but unless I see some drastic behavior shifts I find it hard to lynch off that. His vote felt a bit OMGUS on Mikal but Mikal also said he knows Luna better than anyone else and I'm honestly slightly inclined to believe that, but it is also dependent on if Mikal is town which I can't be surely confident. Behaviorally nothing has pinged my radar
Pie is null. I think him barking up the tree with Iron is his natural skeptism and he does this as town a decent enough to where I think there's nothing truly suspicious
Whiteflame came in and nothing pinged me the wrong way
Castin is still new and hasn't done much so can't really give solid reads

A category would be 

“You are an axe”

A split or sect of that would be 

“You are a diamond axe”. 

Another example 

You are 

“Bird” - category 

Split or sect would be 

You are “a green bird”

Everytime item has multiple tiers. Same with enemies. I’m pretty positive I am on to somrthing with this and very annoyed no one is even entertaining the slightly more narrow soft claim. 

Luna is the only person who’s claimed a subset of an item. 

This is either TMI or just a good call, because I agree. Mikal isn't really fishing in a way that's useful for scum just because of how vague it is. Terraria is a big game with a lot of Things in it, knowing that someone is specifically a category rather than one specific item doesn't change a whole lot.

On the other end, Iron can be a scum role shifting things slightly, but I think they would be able to come up with something better than "3x Cop" if they wanted to be believed, and I find it hard to believe that would be the scum fake claim.

I don't think we should press on the explosion subject for now, especially when there are a few people we haven't heard much from.

So a category that encompasses. Will you Google your item and see if there are diff tiers and just say yes or no

It's possible to be a category and a subset simultaneously. The Anvil, for instance, could be included in the crafting station "set," but it's also a category of its own in that there are multiple types of anvils (Iron, Lead, etc.). You could make the same case for the Pressure Plate, which could be included in "wiring" or some such, but is also a category in its own right in the sense of having multiple types of pressure plates (Brown, Red, etc.).

No there are no different tiers to this item

Yes I guess my point is he is a pressure plate and not a brown pressure plate 

Where as k think Connor would just be a crafting table and not a specific type. It would make the game to broad. 

Y'all saying he's nitpicky, but it's a valid point. Specific item variants preclude the need for fake claims.

It’s meta to mass soft and I’m asking for a very minor detail be added the item or not soft claim. 

Connor is still the only one this point that has a variant or tier 

Need more data and more soft claims for reference.

I cant reveal the specifics of how my bomb works because it would only benefit scum at this time.

Well, if you're looking for an answer as to whether my character includes some kind of subset, I can confirm it does not. My character is a single word without descriptors or further specifications.

There are a variety of crafting tables 

I asked him why did he claim his character and he said he didn’t. 

Meaning he softed he was a type of crafting table
