Hello. I am the item called the ‘pressure plate’ and i have a JOAT style role where only one of the abilities make sense thematically. I have a 3x cop ability, a 1x poisoner ability and a 1x bomb ability. I will lead you to victory town, so long as you don’t let scum lead you down the garden path.
From doing research on this claim, I think this claim either has to be true or was a fake claim provided by the mod, because according to the wiki different plates can be triggered by the player, and some can only be triggered by either projectiles, or npc's, etc. Either that or this player just has extensive knowledge of the theme and game, but for now I can see this as a town role. As to whether it was a ultimately a smart move to out the part about being a cop or not, I do not know, but I can see the reasoning.

I don't think we should be discussing whether Mharman accidentally confirmed them. I think Mikal's town for other reasons (it may not seem like a lot, but his thinking on Luna makes sense and I don't think he'd fake that as scum), and I think overfocusing on a post like this isn't going to do us any favors.
What's done is done. If he's confirmed he's confirmed, might as well be open about it. It's like a flip DP1 without a death, a little treat.
Still waiting for the mass soft claim to finish before I decide what I want to do with Luna. That still sticks out when you look at the list. No one else is a specific type of item.
I am leaning town with TV, could also possibly be TP. I don’t see scum doing the instant claim and I think I have some insight as to why. If Luna does flip scum I’d be be very interested to know why he didn’t use a fake claim
I’m leaning town on skep for the ceru post. I thought the same thing and kind of dismissed it past the VTl because I figure he just saw what he was and thought the game was not what he thought. But skep raises a good point from the pov and sample size argument.
I feel like there is so much off with Luna. He didn’t just say an item or soft claim. He flat said he was a type of crafting table and assuming I am wrong about my theory (I don’t think I am) why would you just claim that. I feel like the role associated with a crafting table would be very obvious and it just makes no sense why town would out when we were asking for items/npcs etc.
Everything about all of that just strikes me as odd
I am happy skep took the path he did as that was why my initial vote went on ceru. The opening post seemed very odd to draw that conclusion. But when you think about it. If he’s not an npc why assume no one else is npcs. I think skep may be on to something with that because it implies knowledge that should not exist.
The other odd thing that sticks out to me is savants activity. We have been in the game for a bit and he’s been around and there is none of his usual hard post analysis where is actually trying to take the time and read into and solve the game. He has been here and he’s coasting. Not sure that is AI but it’s something to remember.

like I said dude you are overthinking it. I’d rather not have to full claim so early but I am willing to since you are confirmed town and I’d like to move on from this. There is scum to catch. What can we do to move forward from this, do you want a character claim or full claim? I am not even sure that would help since your scum reading me entirely on the basis of my claim and not behavior.
Also Mikal is pretty town locked unless JoeBob and Mikal are big braining something but I doubt it so I think it has to be Mikal is town
