Because why would a townie need to look anything up to answer questions about their on when the mod provided them all the info they need to know in their role PM? The only time I look at wikis is when I am scum researching for information to support a fake claim.
This is one of those things that varies from player to player. I myself looked up my own character on the wiki not long after this game began, mainly to make sure I gave accurate information when participating in the mass softclaim that Mikal was pushing. I don't think this is actually a particularly strong point here.

Agree to disagree then. Either way there’s not an alternative that isn’t me being presented and multiple claims are on the table so I’m sticking here until a better opportunity is available. Again supas best arguments haven’t been coming from him.

I don’t buy the two vanillas and I think high chance of scum being there but would rather go for super first. Just still to much inconsistency with eveyrthing thus far and i think it’s very plausible his is the fake claim. The justification makes sense from what I’ve read and how much iconic item the copper long sword is almost to a meme level. But just for all the other reasons I mentioned. I just don’t like this and he is 1 of 2 vanillas. Mharm specifically mentioned in sign ups and in voice this game was going to be chaos. I don’t see 2 vanillas being in nor do I think supa would glance over the big fucking word category on the wiki page.
Is invisible voter a role? Like could this be someone whose vote is hidden or does it have to be a steal? If it’s a hidden voter we can literally find out who it is.

Yeah I’m down to kill supa. There are like 12 variations and no reason for Mharm to just focus on the copper portion of it. He would have just said his role is copper short sword.I would reconsider this but the fact that supa is saying the mod told him that he’s not a category when the literal wiki says he is and the mod told me he could not answer this for players and links me the wiki.Just no lol.If he flips town. I’m town lock and was heavy pushing a bus on Luna.High probability scum wants to join the bus.So if he flips scum, I think Luna is town lock. No reason for Luna to bus him out of no where. Could have redirected to anyone but just to trade a scum teammate for a town read when he’s already still sus and prob would still be sus. Doesn’t make senseIf Luna is town locked. Someone joining my wagon (albeit for different reasons ) is prob scum since 4 or 5 people were wanting to kill him.
I honestly think Luna saw that Supa fucked up and jumped the gun to bus him. That’s what my gut is telling me with the way they reacted to each other.

Alright, going to give some thoughts on what I remember. Please forgive any exclusions - I'm trying to cover about 5-6 pages worth of posts and I'm bound to have missed some things.
Savant's a pretty strong townread at this point. CCing the Vanilla claim is just way too townie of a move to ignore, and there are elements of his claim and justification that lead me to buy it a little more than the others we have on the table based on my own character and justification.
Vader's an... odd case. I was going with Mikal pretty solidly up to the point where Vader clarified his justification in post #470. If this is his actual justification, then I can better understand his confusion over categories, since the justification literally mentions one, but his character itself does not include a specific category. I still can't say I'm buying into Luna's point about him visiting the Wiki being scummy - as with Casey, I visited the Wiki page for my character pretty early. I do have some uncertainty about there being two Vanillas in the game, but with 14 players, that's a pretty weak reason to scumread Vader at this point. As for the point about him claiming Vanilla being a sub-optimal choice if he was scum, I agree, but that also doesn't tell me much. Seen a lot of scum make poor choices before, made a few of them myself, and for all we know, Vader's the Ninja and we won't ever see him move regardless of what he does. I keep flipping back and forth as I write this out. I think I'm leaning slight scum on Vader, but that justification just keeps me second-guessing it.
Pie's been going through the DP right along with me and I'm a bit lost with his analysis, especially this view that it could be both Luna and Vader. The bus is always possible, but it seems implausible that Luna would specifically push attention onto his scum partner before he drew any attention himself. I don't view it as scummy to present that view because it is still possible, especially given how effective some early busses have been in recent games, it's just not what I'd consider most likely at the moment. I'd say I'm pretty null on his analysis, maybe slight town for drawing attention to himself by calling the bus (weird move if he's scum).

So the overall Supa issue is that he claimed an item, was unsure whether shortsword was a category of sword or whether Mikal was asking him about the different types of swords (iron sword, gold sword, whatever) apparently mentioned in his PM - supposedly it was written 'short sword' in the PM but should have been 'shortsword', an error on the mod's part.Without the mod response difference confirmation, the case becomes a lot weaker tbh. As I said earlier, Supa feels honest to me.
The issue is him asking in the first place if he’s a category or not. He should know based on the fact that his PM mentioned copper short sword that he’s a category. What’s the point of even asking Mharman?

A thought I had recently when I was looking at Savant is that at first I town read him for being the first person to claim an NPC instead of an item. But then I realized that it's a null read at best, because when it comes to theme analysis (if Luna is right about there being three scum), then they have access to six genuine claims (three real and three fake). They know waaaay more about the theme than any of us right off the bat and are unlikely to make silly role errors - in fact they'd be less likely to do it than town.
What makes you think they have 3 fake claims?
