I really struggle to follow how lost he is. Specifically because I used axe and iron axe to clarify what I was asking for and his is short swords
I... Think I can see what Vader is trying to say now? The ISO is actually helpful here. But basically, I think that by 'category', Vader was trying to refer to the 'iron' in 'iron axe' in the example that you provided. Since his role PM originally (according to Vader himself) had shortsword written out as two words, it would have appeared to be like an iron axe, but the mod clarified that it was actually like axe. I think that's what Vader was trying to say when he said his character didn't have a category - that it didn't have an adjective like the 'iron' in 'iron axe'. Though if that is what he was trying to say, he should have just said that instead of wording it in such a confusing way.

Nobody has claimed a monster yet, as far as I recall Personally, I thought the theme split was going to be that monsters are scum roles- so I think it's risky for Savant to drop a character like that into an already volatile situation.

I'm roughly caught up now.

I have:
Savant Mikal as Town strongly
Lunatic WyIted as Town less strongly
Vader Joebob Banana (REF (maybe)) as my rough POE

Everyone else occupies a nebulous "Unsure" category in my brain right now because I either have things about them I'm hesitant on (WF, Casey) or just have not seen/do not remember enough (Ultra, Iron, Pie)

I was assuming when people said npc it was monsters? Don’t play enough terraria to know but there aren’t main characters or characters. I feel like monster by default has to be npc?

I think that is a super generous interpretation but I’m just los that he said no category, not a tier. Change it. Admit he’s in the wiki and you see the screenshot. It’s in big letters. 


I am really struggling to parse this as genuine confusion and I don’t think supa is that dumb or if he fumbled a fake claim.

Like what are you talking about about with tiers? 

If you are talking about whether something like a short sword can have a different range of quality (tiers) than okay that's common sense. If you asked me if my character Is teired  I wouldn't even know what the fuck you were talking about. If their is talking about range of quality then it's an item and like all items I assume some range of quality
Supa explicitly said his PM mentions tiers, yet he said it doesn’t at first. That’s the post I’m showing. He’s being inconsistent

Given that this is a very large game, it's not surprising to me that we've had a lot of activity so far. I do expect things to gradually slow down as the game progresses.

Asking for feedback on Pie from players who are more familiar with his style. Is he normally so bombastic?  The very brazen and decisive reads make me lean town because scum are usually more risk-averse DP1 but is this just his playstyle?

This doesn’t even make sense. It would have be WF as he is the one who also saw the post as well. Luna and everyone else is saying the mod responded to the fact he deleted the post is confirmation

That’s the issue though isn’t it? There are likely 3 scum out there. That’s why I asked if anyone had see the post. I agree with Luna though about Mharman posting again. It proves that he did post before, otherwise why even post.

I'll grant that it is generous, but it's kind of the only way I can make sense of his posts.

I don’t think that’s the issue tbh. The issue is the fact that he’s contradicting what he said about his own PM.

Cause he claimed after he revealed there wasn’t tiers, so it’s possible he just messed up the fake claim. Wouldn’t be the first time he’s messed up.
