I don't like how he never responded to my own post calling out his inconsistent behavior.

It's not really inconsistent. The first was me being snarky, the second was me pushing on calling the existing claims scummy because I don't really scumread Savant, Lunatic, or WyIted.


My ability can't be used on a non-poisoned person, so no dice there. I'm back to Square 1 about figuring out why there wasn't one. Possibly a JOAT ability that wasn't used in lieu of something else?

If Vader wasn't Black Slime, I would suggest Brain of Cthulhu as a scum role because in Expert mode it deals several different status effects, including poison, which would explain my existence.

But Confusion is also a status effect, and I think that if Mharman wanted a randomizer ability on the scum team, he would have given that to Brain (instead of Black Slime), if it existed. So I'm moreso suspecting that the scum team is just three slimes and that's the theme split.

Joebob (My town read on him is dwindling based on recent lack of effort).
In the first dp everything is simple, just a couple people character  claiming and sussing eachother because of that, which is I was able to be active in the conversation. But as the DPs go on, I get more and more lost. Whether that’s because not following the topic of conversation, or my lack of understanding behavior from others between them being town and scum.
The above is the reason why I stopped mafia in the first place. I decided to come back because I understood the theme so I thought maybe that would help, but it seems to be dwindling. 
So yea, I admit the lack of effort. I’ll try to reread everything a couple more times and see if I can gain anything off of it.

To avoid skipping steps, I'll say that I have noticed that Casey's claimed ability would not have stopped a Poison. So JOAT seems more likely to me. It's also possible, if we have a 3rd Party, that there might be Poison Immunity or other passive that would prevent a Poison in play.

Holstering it for the sake of holstering doesn't make sense, because as someone said earlier, there was no way for them to know that a Poison Healer was in play. So, clearly, there was a reason we're not seeing it.

You don't need to reread everything multiple times. That's something I've never found productive, personally, although I know it works for some people. At some point, things can just start to run together.

What are your thoughts right now? If you were keeping up at the start, you must have some perspective, even if it's muddled now. Where are you at?

You, Banana, and Ultra, are going to be very difficult to read because of the lack of activity, so I want you to try to actually put the cards in your brain on the table and be as transparent as possible when you are here. Otherwise, you're just going to be a forever-POE slot that Mafia drags to LYLO.

...Assuming you're not Mafia, of course...

You know what, I can buy that there's a scum JOAT. A Town JOAT usually implies a scum one, and we know for a fact that irontoaster was the Town JOAT. The trouble is that even if there is a scum Poisoner, I doubt they'll use it tonight, as it would just confirm you, and the last thing the scum team would want right now is more town confirmation.

If it weren't for the angleshoot on Mikal, I think I would have him in POE, to be quite frank. Pushing for the WF vote late Day 1 and now wanting what I suspect to be a 0/2 immediate POE (me/WF) here is not a good look. Probably just wrong Town.

I do concede that WF can be scum, I think I said this before, but I don't have a behavioral reason to really townread him. (I seriously struggle to read WF in general, usually need a few flips.) But being the sort-of CFD to a scum wagon strikes me as being a strong point in his favor, and the claim is bad in a way that I think he could have come up with something better as Mafia.

In any case, I don't think he should be anywhere near POE for today when Joebob, Ultra, and REF exist.

Good. That means as long as I'm alive, I'm denying scum KP. That's what my role is meant to do, even if this is a roundabout way of going about it.

Either they kill me, a borderline-POE slot and let more confirmed people like Lunatic or Pie live, or they let me live and are effectively locked out of using Poisons.

For starters, I think that you are very likely town. 
From you hinting that it spawned naturally, which wasn’t on the wiki so a scum would have to go in depth to find that, but also that the claim somewhat makes sense. I say somewhat because I still don’t know what your role does in the slightest. 
I think that banana is also slight/likely town. The character claim leads me to a couple roles that could be very well in this game so I don’t see why you would character claim something that obvious. 
I’m also moving Savant to town from where I had him last game, as his other vanilla was scum. I find it unlikely there is 0 vanilla as usually I see the mods mention that this is a role madness game.
WyIted claim doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. I couldn’t find the justification so I’m basing this off of the charcuterie and role connection without the justification and it doesn’t really add up, so I would say he is null/lean scum.
Unless he changed his playstyle from when I last played with him, or something else is going on that I missed, usually I see white flame more active then normal. I used to see him always be the most active or one of the, and I didn’t really see that, so I’ll put him in null. Plus the role/character is apparently scummy. 
Everyone else is null or slight/lean town based off of activity
Oh and also Mikal is town for obvious reasons.

I know I’ve been pretty inactive, but I’ve also been feverishly preparing for an audit at work (coming up Monday) and that’s both taken up most of my time and made me not want to continue staring at my computer. Thankfully, we’re basically ready now, so all that remains is judgement day.

As for the claims made so far, considering Banana’s suggests some protective role (I won’t speculate as to what) and she’s the only claimed protective role (Asceticizer being a kind of protection that wouldn’t stop the NK or Poisoner), I have more reason to believe it. My sus was based on her pretty weak reasoning for voting and I could see her doing that, at least with limited time left in the DP.

The Asceticizer claim by Casey is likely real given that someone else was affected by it, though it could be town or scum. I’ve been townreading Casey behaviorally - their reason for eventually hopping on my lynch felt a little strained, but I read resignation into Casey’s decision to pursue it rather than an active effort to recruit to the lynch, which would have made more given Mikal was already pushing for it.

So both are slight town reads.

Scum had a choice here: let the claimed Cop have a chance to get some results, or bank on them using their Cop or Poisoner role and try to get a kill. Knowing that he was the Bomb meant that trying to RB him would put scum at just as much risk (he hinted as much saying the Doc shouldn’t visit him), so it was either let him go wild with the Cop or take him out. There was a risk of losing one scum on the process, but the risk of one or more Cop results could outweigh that in a game this large.

So, yeah, I could see making this call. I probably would have done the same in their shoes. POE hasn’t been that dramatically reduced after DP1, he was the only claimed Investigative role, and that Poisoner was an ongoing risk to them as well. Bank on the view that he’d want to go on being a threat in the game? I would.

Not weird at all. I'm the only other one who saw it, but far from the only one who could see what was going on. If people want to be uncertain about your mod confirmation in this instance, I don't think that's going to change unless I am confirmed, so I guess that's another reason for you to pursue my elimination.

As for why I'm still that high on your lynch pool despite your saying last DP that Vader flipping scum would essentially remove me from your scum pool, I can't say I get it, but it's your call. I don't think I am town confirmed or anything similar simply by virtue of my sussing Vader for much of the DP, but I also don't get what changed about your thinking on both Ultra and me between the end of last DP and the beginning of this one, since you had Ultra on your projected POE in this post but me in this one.

I do not buy cerus claim at all. 
I don’t buy it either. His character is also sort of tied to Supa’s in the sense that Black Slime and Campfires are found in Underground Caverns per the Wiki. Would scum really have 2 kill opportunities? I don’t think so. 

I also heavily dislike the fact that Luna hasn’t said who he strengthened yet. You know my theory on the bus.
