Arguing Christianity and questioning the bible is one thing. But hammering and pressuring people simply because they have a faith, is sick. He gets a kick from it. Semantics is important in debate and I agree that he should soften his language but certainly you can find a better example of what you mean.
Just for the record I would consider banning as a last case resort as I tend to have a preference for inclusiveness over exclusiveness and anything that constructively addresses the issue is preferable to simply silencing someone.

If for instance if you mention early the 19th century Jean-Baptiste Lamarck who proposed his theory of the transmutation of species, the first fully formed theory of evolution. He will deny your evidence and tell you to "go read a book". or to "google" something
If of course you mention Charles Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace's publication of their evolutionary theory which is explained in detail in Darwin's On the Origin of Species he will tell you
A person, you, who doesn't understand the word theory is in no position to discuss the ToE but especially a person who thinks that Darwin proposed the ToE is just too ignorant to discuss anything.
