Should there be a Union of some North American countries, similar to the EU? The original countries would be US, Canada and Greenland once they get independence? There would be requirements for joining the NAU.

--> @AlecHell no. I don't want no bagged milk from Canada.
-
--> @GreyparrotThen don't buy bagged milk.
-
3 countries, NO why would we EVER do that, Mexico will ruin the currency
-
--> @Dr.FranklinMexico currently wouldn't be in the Union.
-
So just Canada and America, seems like just an alliance
-
--> @Dr.FranklinUSA, Canada, and Greenland. Under NAU, any citizen of any of these places may freely live in any of the others.
-
I think Greenland is part of EU.
-
--> @AlecGreenland, wow big help
-
--> @AlecGreenland is part of north america, just WOW. Yank education at it's finest.
-
--> @disgustedHere's an image of North America

--> @disgustedSatellite imagery - North America
-
--> @Death23Greenland probably would get independence quicker and join the NAU.

Considering that we are much more free and economically powerful than either of these nations, I'd say we have very little to gain compared to them. Also, I don't want people I didn't elect from different countries dictating how I live my life. Consider the forced migration the EU initiated and the effects of that on Europe.However, bagged milk would be nice, so maybe....
-
--> @Dr.FranklinWith American settlement, since Greenland is rich in natural resources, it would benefit the NAU.

This is a wingnut conspiracy I haven't encountered previously, do tell. LOLConsider the forced migration the EU initiated and the effects of that on Europe. -
--> @AlecIt’s owned by demark
-
--> @disgustedI'm referring to the crisis in Europe. The EU requires countries to accept a quota of migrants https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2017/09/06/world/europe/eu-migrants-hungary-slovakia.amp.html As we have seen in the UK and Sweden, they are probably never going back. So, more or less forced migration
-
--> @bmdrocks21So the reality is that you don't have a clue what forced migration means it's just something you heard a wingnut say. Thanks for that. The ignorance of Americans is staggering.
-
--> @bmdrocks21Both Canada and Greenland are wealthy low populated places. Immigration from them to the US would be very small.I'd say we have very little to gain compared to them.The USA gets huge amounts of natural resources. The other nations get to freely move to the most popular immigrant destination in the world, the USA.Also, I don't want people I didn't elect from different countries dictating how I live my life.How would they? I don't know about forced migration, but if Europe did that, it may have been to culturally unify the place. The NAU is already culturally unified, except for Quebec and Greenland, but voluntarily migration would be enough to assiliminated these regions. Their populations are small.
-
--> @Dr.FranklinCurrently, Greenland is owned by Denmark, but they would probably give the island independence if the locals voted on it and if most wanted it.
-
--> @disgusted
Where are you from?The ignorance of Americans is staggering. -
--> @disgustedThey are forcing countries to accept migrants. Sounds like forced migration to me
-
--> @bmdrocks21What it sounds like to such as you is why you have a moron for president.

--> @AlecThe part of the moon that is Mars. Ask your idiot in chief.
