I know what you meant, still it makes me feel weird when people say sorry in that context. Even when said IRL in that context.

It always gets better though. After all, life is like running...

About as close to the opposite of Forest Gump as it is physically possible to be lol.

Which character do you recognize? They had a fairly well known voice actor guest star for the baboon, not sure where you would know the horse from if you aren't familiar with the show.

I'm a paralegal... trust me, it gets boring. But, not so much for the attorney though (depending on the area of law i guess)... just make sure you crush it in school. The competition is pretty intense. Ask me any questions if you have any.

Yeah, I'd figure young or old, there is much the same.
Maybe some physical limitations older you get, but one can stay in shape, practice less rigorous physical activities. Or enjoy nonphysical activity.

I guess if someone 'really liked their job, or certain expensive hobbies, it'd make sense to work till one drops.
But I'm fond of cheap thrills, and enjoyments unrelated to work, myself.

Barring someone with a photographic memory, I'd figure memories for 'most people get a bit fuzzy after a while,
That doing something a second or even a third time, can still be a fresh experience.

Though with 'moderation, I don't 'think people get too bored of activities,
It's when one gorges on an experience for an extended period of time, that a sickness of said experience, can sometimes seeps in.

But hey, I can listen to the same four minute song all 'day sometimes,
Or the same food for lunch for a week or two before wanting a change.

@Speedrace Topic
5 years, I wonder how entertained or bored you have been during that time?
I wonder why you worry about boredom in old age, are you bored at all 'now?
Do older people 'look like they have more boring lives to you?

Also, passed you on Leaderboard for number of votes cast on debates.

After thinking on it some,
I suppose older individuals 'could be at higher rates of depression,
And then when people get depressed they sometimes stop doing stuff, stop doing stuff that relieves depression, viscous cycle.

But sometimes one's friends or family are dying, some are divorced or alone, maybe they've retired or 'can't keep working, and working 'was their main go to, they never developed other hobbies.
Physical limitations, aches and pains, medical issues pop up sometimes, maybe there's worries about making a living or their futures.

Course, higher risk doesn't mean certain outcome.
People can depressed at all stages of life I'm sure.
Teens, school or family pressure, social confusion, body confusion and hormones, developing world views.
Mid life people, Mid Life Crisis, job, family, money.

Eh, if you're worried about old age, just consider the possible dangers, then safeguard against them as best you can. Develop the vision to see ruts, then avoid them.
. . . Just don't hyperfocus on it, that's how one could get Hypochondria, I imagine.

Interesting comment at the end there.

I work in the pharmacy industry, And it's quite apparent that a niche group of clients have a morbid obsession with ill health.

And  overstretched GP's just throw pills at them, which just exacerbates their problems.

Hypochondria, is a mental health issue that should be taken seriously.

Whether in a restaurant or a hospital,
I think customers are often willing to take something that is offered,
Whether they 'need it or not,
It's easy to say yeah, sure.
Though there 'are individuals excessively worried about their condition.

. . . Heh, I wonder if it's 'increased with technology?

Internet maybe allows more knowledge of health problems one 'could have,
But can be vague in diagnosis.

Then again, even in older era, people had a lot of stories and ideas of problems they 'could be experiencing, many now disproven,
And wives tales solutions.

Undoubtedly.

Hypochondriacs are very well versed in matters biological, medical and surgical.

Though I expect that previously, they owned and read all the appropriate literature.
