If you take issue with a vote, report it.

SCENE:

OPENS on DR.FRANKLIN in a battered, pea green Kia Soul, pulling up to the Burger King drive thru menu.

DR.FRANKLIN (brakes the car abruptly)

DR.FRANKLIN:" I want to talk to the manager!"

BURGER KING DRIVE THRU DUE:"Excuse me, mister....."

DR.FRANKLIN:"Doctor!"

BURGER KING DRIVE THRU DUDE:"....Doctor.  Sorry, Doctor.  Excuse me, Doctor, but...."

DR.FRANKLIN:" I don't want excuses.  I've had it up to here with excuses.  What's your name, son?"

BURGER KING DRIVE THRU DUDE:"Doctor... uh, sir?  .....have you   ...have you, y'know, ordered.... anything yet?"

DR.FRANKLIN (smiles vaguely to camera, whispers)  "no."

@Dr.Franklin
Mods have had votes for and against them removed. Mods have even had their own votes removed. Mods are not above the rules, and no mod is ever permitted to self-moderate (that is, to moderate their own votes or votes on their own debates). While I am not familiar with the particular examples, it is possible that due to a lack of time, the vote simply was not addressed before the voting window closed. This is, unfortunately, not something that impacts just mods; cases of last minute vote bombs standing have occurred several times. The long-term remedy, I think, is to enable mods to remove votes even after the voting period has closed--that is a feature we do not currently have on the site.

We can only remove reported votes.
This is also correct. If a vote is not reported, it will not be dealt with.

However, the vote was praised. I think if the vote is unfair, just remove it, that's what I suggest

Strictly speaking, it's not so much an issue of fairness as it is an issue of rule-compliance. We try to craft rules to prohibit unfair voting practices, but ultimately some unfair votes will not break the rules and will therefore pass moderation review.

Again, I am not commenting on the specific examples you cited, because I am unfamiliar with the circumstances surrounding them and your complaint. Rather, I am speaking broadly about what moderation endeavors to do.
