According to Christian believers, he is. But there are many biblical characters that are called "son or sons of god". It is more of a title than it is a fact. To me Jesus was just another - very human - contender for the Jewish throne Jerusalem.

Oh I'm just trying to make sense of what you said. The Abrahamic religions all clearly worship the same god, so I can't understand what distinction you've made if you agree that Jesus is the son of God and not God himself.
