Wheres your DP poems?

Sorry, real life exploded like a can of Campbell's chicken noodle in the microwave. Sad part is that I come back expecting to be overwhelmed by the amount of items in my "latest activivites" since Sunday and instead there's only six. Three debates going, 2 games of mafia and over nearly four days- six posts. Still, I am glad somebody misses my worser verses.

We have one "special role" in the form of the vigilante, who can shoot another player each night. From there, it's all about deduction based on behavior, night kills, etc.

Some people would argue it's rolling the dice, but as you play more you'll be able to pick up on subtleties that only town players do or are more likely that scum players do.

Looks like I'm behind, do you have any thoughts so far on other players' behavior?

Because it's the only role in the game and mafia seemingly dont have a roleblocker or way to counter it. Seems like an interesting way to make a game imo

When the list reaches only 1 below the divider, we simply VTL that person. Granted this only gives an estimated 18% chance of catching a scum.

Gonna veto the fuck outta this. Lynching inactives is meh. I personally don't like to do it, but others do.

Auto-lynching the last person to post is a terrible idea though.

I'm assuming that the vig gets a kill and mafia gets a factional kill. I haven't seen this on MU but I've seen a similar setup. Otherwise mafia has to drive a ton of mislynches and the vig is super OP relative to the rest of the players.

- What do you think about Ragnar's plan to lynch the last person to log on? I'm inclined to give him a pass since he's noob-ish but think it's kinda scummy.

- What do you make of Supa's adamant defense of his scum play? Do you think he'd be more likely to do that as town or scum? Or is it NAI (not alignment indicative)?

Lunch: Yummy Yummy in our tummies.

No-lunch: Lose weight faster

Serious Answer: If we lynch someone this DP, we reduce the size of the scum pool. Coupled with town confirming people, we could use lynches to find scum via POE. However, if we simply run off of the “scummy play = scum”, we might Lynch many town before we get to scum, especially considering the overall skill and experience level of DART mafia players.

Then what do you propose we do? In this setup it's more important than pretty much any other DART game to use behavior analysis.

Tbh in DP1, there isn’t much to go off of at all. Scum is very unlikely to slip at this point. The main focus of mafia is to narrow down the possible list of scum to a point where we can win via POE. There would also be more clues in later DPs. VTNL seems like the best option atp, but I’m open to a lynch if there is a good reason to.
