First they were quiet, and then he  stated 'not the response I expected'  and then crowd laughed and moderate clapping of hands.

Trumpanzees in denial of all negative truths regarding their narcissistic leader.

Mark Judd is hiding because he knows the truth regarding Kavenaough.

Trumpanzees denial of sexual predispostions of idio-ump and any of his Trumpanzees.

This is no surprise to any people have moral integrity and seek truth.

@GP- this is funny and about the Kavanaugh process so far. https://youtu.be/b8IsU_--fBU. Sorry about the rest, I got distracted and well... here we are now 😂

was this narcissist stated at UN today. That he has done more than any other president in history...and the crowd went quiet

First, that's literally all you take out of the speech? And oh my goodness, the room in a United Nations Security Council meeting during a speech by the president was quiet!

It wasn't by the way, Trump made a typical braggodocious remark. There was a little laughter in the background. Then Trump jokes about it, "not the reaction i expected" and most of the room laughs. It was actually handled pretty well and otherwise showed Trump isn't as hotheaded like people make it out to be.

Stick around for later in the speech when he told it like it is?

- Stock market at all time high
-jobless claims at 50 year low
- African american, Hispanic American and Asian American unemployment all at lowest levels recorded.
- 4 million new jobs, of which half a million are manfucaturing.
-Biggest tax cuts and reforms in history
-Border wall is already going up 😉 and greatly strengthened border security

Big point to the whole room

700 billion to military this year
716 billion to military this year

Notice the emphasis he put on that point? Hear anybody laughing after that? Wonder why 😏.

Where did you get the story of the reaction from I've read reports in 5 different newspapers from 5 different countries and they all say that the audience laughed at his statement. There is no mention of the audience laughing at his quip.

Many of them knew some of that 716 billion was for them.

Trump was asked about them laughing at him and he said they weren't laughing at him but with him.

The reaction Trump expected was booing. He is aware that the UN is full of libtards.

He just wanted an excuse to tout his accomplishments for his American audience. They were quiet because his success drives them nuts. But they can't counter it. Things like the employment figures and the tax cuts are empirical.

Trump isn't as hotheaded like people make it out to be.

You obviously did not see him getting question by reporters yesterday over 20 - 30 minute period.  He was pissed.

I was amazed he went on for as long as he did answering questions.

Your in denial of his hothead ways.  Typical Trumpanzee attitude. Sad :--(

imo there's a difference between being intense or passionate vs angry/hothead.  That's how I get and often people confuse it for anger, they don't understand being expressive in that manner when so many are just plain dull and flat.

OMG, your obviously in denial of ongoing republican committe and Kavenaugh drama.

Obama was civil, intelliegent thougthful person.

Idio-ump reublican Trumpanzee ---ex kavenaguh---- are anything but civil, intelligent and thoughful.

Their all pissy becuase people are questioning good ole boy practices that are led y the lead Trumpanzee who has no problem grabbing any stranger womans private parts.

Trumpanzees dont care about morals of president,  because of their personal only lack of moral integrity.

That is common for many presidents not just idio-ump. Your always in denial of truth/facts and love to create alternative facts.

You obviously did not watch idio-ump pissy atttitude for some 20 - 30 minutes of answering reporters quetsions.

Or you did and just more denial of truth/facts. Sad :--(

So Trump himself was calling his accomplishments a joke?

Dude, reality is different, check it out.

He touts 'accomplishments', crowd murmurs, unsure of what he is talking about, he says 'No, its true', doubling down, and the crowd laughs.

They are either laughing at his 'accomplishments' (that being the subject of his joke), or they are laughing at him trying to pawn of his accomplishments, which, again, is no better a joke.

This was akin to him trying to claim his victory as some sort of land slide, then quietly backpedaling that "they" told him that, and dismissing the reporter calling him on his claims (claims, as in, not a joke).

The employment figures PALE in comparison to Obama's drop, which, btw, are the same source Trump is pulling him from, literally within the first quarter of him sitting his rear in the chair, he claimed "sometimes they are real, and sometimes they aren't", which shows you just how objective he is about his fact polling.

Lastly, 'tax cuts'.  Before I eviscerate this, please, illuminate what you think the tax cuts did for the majority of Americans that such should be lauded.  In what meaningful way do you feel a single digit less than 5 percent cut will impact the day to day goings on of John Q. Public, as opposed to the reduction BY HALF of those other 'people' we call 'businesses'?

Err. You will have to guide me on your thought process there cause I can't see how you got there.

Dude, reality is different, check it out.
Different from what? What Trump said, what the audience did, or what I said?

He touts 'accomplishments', crowd murmurs, unsure of what he is talking about, he says 'No, its true', doubling down, and the crowd laughs.
Ah. You have your own reason for the crowds behavior.

They are either laughing at his 'accomplishments' (that being the subject of his joke), or they are laughing at him trying to pawn of his accomplishments, which, again, is no better a joke.
As I said, "They were quiet because his success drives them nuts." And obviously not all of them are in the UN audience.

This was akin to him trying to claim his victory as some sort of land slide,
I don't know, the libtards sure behaved like the land slid from under their feet.

(claims, as in, not a joke).
The only one claiming he made a joke here is you. Do you debate yourself often?

Lastly, 'tax cuts'.  Before I eviscerate this,....
I'm still waiting for you to eviscerate it. And the more than $2,500 in my pocket feels pretty good. As I said, "...they can't counter it. Things like the employment figures and the tax cuts are empirical."

According to the libtards, America by now was going to be a nuclear wasteland. With them surviving in Canada where they all moved to once Trump won.

Dude, reality is different, check it out.

Do they now? The US shed over 4 million jobs during Obama's tenure and uunemployment claims were not anywhere near all-time lows or even lows in comparison to decades ago. I agree they pale in comparison to how absolutely shitty Obama's economic prowress was.

Anybody else remember, "2%[GDP growth] is the new normal"? I'm asking for a friend cause we're at above 4% and have been for a little bit now.

Don't forget about the food stamp enrollment. (that's another indicator of economic anemia...especially among blacks and minorities)

The left is desperate to paint a picture that the Hugo Chavez style of socialism of "sock it to the rich and give it to the government" actually works in America when it's clear to anyone with a brain that it does not...no matter how much you want to spin the numbers. Pelosi aint getting her crumbs back anytime soon, and you'll just have to deal with that reality.

They're crumbs, but they sure do want to put those taxes back in place despite them being "crumbs". This is how disattached Dems have become, they don't even understand an extra 2,500 on average isn't crumbs at all. Thats far from crumbs to most people.

Should come as no surprise that investment and consumer confidence is 50 year highs and small businesses are booming again and being started at record paces. People have money to spend again after taxes were cut dramatically. Who could have ever seen that one coming except the people who understand business and economics 😂😂

"....and he said they weren't laughing at him but with him..."    Yeah, no. Trump either thought his accomplishments were an appropriate subject of a joke or... his narcissism was met with shocked silence from some as the below citation references in article.

"As I said, "They were quiet because his success drives them nuts." ---  that, literally is the joke.  He has no 'success', in any real sense of the word.  He could have been a bobble head and his administration would have gotten along swimingly, but instead he decided to open his twit-box.
His success is coasting off the Obama administration at best, hypocritical to the core at its worst.

"You have your own reason for the crowds behavior." --- That, and the the suggested reasons from those actually present.

"To get to the bottom of this mystery, we canvassed 21 U.N.-based diplomats and asked what they really thought about Trump’s boast.
Seven either declined to respond or dodged the question (“I wasn’t there”) because, well, they are diplomats. All but one of the fourteen who replied to the survey said the audience was definitely laughing at Trump. But three conceded that he eventually won over the crowd when he smiled and made a joke about it. One respondent challenged the claim that diplomats actually laughed at Trump. It was more of a “murmur,” the diplomat said.

"... I don't know..."  (re land slide victory).  Let me educate you, again.

"I was given that information," Trump said. "We had a very, very big margin."
"Why should Americans trust you when you accused the information they've received of being fake when you're providing information that's not accurate?" Alexander asked.
"Well, I don't know. I was given that information. Actually, I've seen that information around," Trump said. "But it was a very substantial victory, do you agree with that?" he asked the reporter.

Hey, you and Trump both don't know about his 'land slide'.  At least you are in appropriate company.

"The only one claiming he made a joke here is you..."  And Nikki Haley, refer to a previously cited article as to whom that is, though on the flip side, Trump can't remember what he was talking about either, so at least there is that.  ""I said our country is now stronger than ever before, it's true," the president said. "And I heard a little rustle and I said it's true and I heard smiles.""

"..And the more than $2,500 in my pocket feels pretty good. As I said..."  ---  Wow, that 42ish bucks a week works out to like... what, 5 hours of you working?  Let me re-iterate:  that does squat for your average American house hold, and such a number as you represent is well out of the median income bracket, most American homes getting a whopping 1K per year, tops.  That doesn't help, Ethan, that is lip service.   Unsurprisingly, the wealthiest Americans will benefit the most; IE those whom don't directly need dollars in hands.

Trump either thought his accomplishments were an appropriate subject of a joke or... his narcissism was met with shocked silence from some as the below citation references in article.
The point is, Trump did not mean it as a joke and expected boos, not silence.

He has no 'success', in any real sense of the word.
The comment is ludicrous at face value. The opposite of everything liberals claimed would be Trump failures (stock market crash/GDP drop/war/consumer confidence drop/high unemployment) has happened, but they illogically insist now the opposite of what they called failure is not success.

Hey, you and Trump both don't know about his 'land slide'.  At least you are in appropriate company.
I didn't fall to the ground wailing on Nov 16. You can get up now. It turned out to be a good landslide.

Wow, that 42ish bucks a week works out to like... what, 5 hours of you working?
So what? That is preferable to democrats taking my money and spending it on terrorists. I can take my family out to eat and make beautiful memories while Abdul stays in Syria, bombing people there. As we take more and more money from the silly practise of sponsoring illegals, Trump will have more and more for us.

Don't let hatred of Trump make you irrational.

"The point is, Trump did not mean it as a joke and expected boos, not silence."

Boos would have inferred he was right.  That he was laughed AT is telling.

".... The opposite of everything liberals claimed would be Trump failures (stock market crash/GDP drop/war/consumer confidence drop/high unemployment)  hasn't happened..."  Yet.

Trump needs to get spanked by China a bit more for us to see what happens.

"....It turned out to be a good landslide...."  Once again, the point--- what land-slide?  Trump touts accomplishment, and big shock, it was a lie.  Or misinformation.  Either or.  You are sticking up for a con man.  A charlatan.  A carnival barker.  Just don't be surprised when the flea circus doesn't actually have fleas, okay?

"...So what? .."  Tax cuts are directly supposed to help people, not eventually get around to them.  Bush Jr figured that one out with a rebate, though it was swallowed up in the economy being tanked.
