This was a 3 year project I had been working on for quite some time. I am really butthurt about this because it took me 3 years in total and now it's all gone. It disappeared off my save file and now I have to restart a new world. It wasn't a big world and I certainly make better stuff now, but it had a lot of sentimental value to it that I truly enjoyed from the secret rooms littered on the city to the disproportionate baseball stadium, to the theme park I was too lazy to finish and the airport we were about to build. It was a good run city world, but it is time to move on and build a better world. 2020 is officially cursed

That really does suck.   I would be pissed.   Have you tried disk recovery tools?

They don't work because Microsoft owns a stake in Minecraft, and they transferred everything from a disc version, to an online downloadable version, which means that there is no disc recovery that works. I tried to do a recovery in general, but it is hard to do on an XBOX and didn't work
