Buying aquarium need advice

Yeah according to what I am reading "kill all your fish" is apparently a property common to many chemicals. I plan on buying a broad range of water testing kits and testing daily while also starting out with relatively cheap breeds in case I do fuck something up.

Yup. Simple setup with hardy fish and you will probably be fine

Buying aquarium? My advice is DON’T. Waste of money and resources. If you really want to, then do it.

It's a hobby. It's for fun, not for productivity. Everyone needs a good completely useless money pit every once in a while.

Don't get the wrong idea: I respect all yours due to that none is explicitly unethical. Note that is just my suggestion. It is subjective. I honestly think aquariums take too much space and money. 

I have 2, and after the initial investment, it's really not bad at all. My 10 gallon was probably about 150 to set up completely, but since then? I've spent like maybe 20-30 dollars over the course of a year

Not sure where your from, but in the US most people call "water tanks"  as you so call it "small/home aquariums."

I guess it is my misunderstanding. If it is just a water tank then that is nothing inherently bad about.

Dude. No one told me he is trying to build a little tank. I searched "aquarium" on google and it shows a large ass aquarium. That is what happens. I understand what he is trying to do, but I certainly needd more time to understand context consider I am literally swifting semantics all over the places.

An aquarium is most likely referred to as a small tank, not a big ass SeaWorld. How could you think anyone on DART has that money? They would be doing something much more productive.

It seems some definitions are in need of clarification.
