No. As a Libleft I advocate for freedom and equality. I try my best to not have opinions just on what that one believes, and will not forcefully discriminate.

I don’t like the typical test. It makes social issues “authoritarian” and puts way too much focus on economics

Well, I guess that rules out Trump and Biden. Well done, you just ruined our election.

Wait a minute, ruling out Trump and Biden? That's a great idea! When do we start?

i would put in the constitution that the federal government must give catastrophic health coverage to all citizens, with coverage at least above the median salary. if we had this sorta coverage, people wouldn't go bankrupt or broke paying their healthcare bills, yet there'd be personal responsibility to pay tens of thousands of dollars. it would be a just society on this point.

outlaw slavery, universal suffrage.  France was writing the Rights of Man the same year as the Constitution so its not like these ideas did not already enjoy wide  popularity.

Apparently this is a very unique point in American history so take a look around.  Pick something that's normally against the interest of a legislature trying to remain in power.

Rewrite the Commerce clause as such:

"The power of Congress to make all laws that are necessary and proper to regulate commerce among the several states, or with foreign nations, shall not be construed to include the power to regulate or prohibit any activity that is confined within a single state regardless of its effects outside the state, whether it employs instrumentalities therefrom, or whether its regulation or prohibition is part of a comprehensive regulatory scheme; but Congress shall have the power to regulate harmful emissions between one state and another, and to define and provide for the punishment of offenses constituting acts of war or violent insurrection against the United States."

FDR completely fucked up that part of the constitution when he made that crazy grab for government control over the economy.

I would have defined voting rights clearly and succinctly. As it is, 8 of 27 amendments, nearly 1/3 of them, have addressed voting rights, and we still do not have it clear enough. No other subject has occupied as much constitutional conflict and discussion as our basic right of citizenship. I admire James Madison immensely, but on this one, he punted.

Not sure I'm following you bro. I'm not saying we should get rid of militia. I would just rather it just say that the ride of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be in fringe rather than including that clause about a well-regulated militia

No matter how impractical communism is, if you are taking away our right to believe, then you are as bad as those dictators who misinterpreted communism.

"It wasn't RREEEAAAAALLLL communism"

To put it bluntly: no matter how you interpret communism, it is dumb as hell. Not even good on paper.

Interesting how every single person that attempted it caused mass starvation and resulted in a dictatorship, huh?

That is an appeal to tradition. Within the same logic you would be using oil lanterns because Edison had failed thousands of times before he made a functional electric lamp.

An electric lamp, in theory, is a good idea.

Communism, in theory and in practice, is a terrible idea. Ignoring basic human nature tends to never work out (plus his attempts at making a lamp didn't enslave and kill millions of people).

I am not arguing for Oceanian IngSoc. I am arguing for Social democracy. Worrying that communism is authoritarian is meaningless as socialism is just on the left side of the economic axis, no matter how authoritarian. I could well be arguing for anarcho-communism, but I am past that anarkiddy stage. Social democracy is good.
