Conservatives have excellent credentials to speak about human rights. By our efforts, and with precious little help from self-styled liberals, we were largely responsible for securing liberty for a substantial share of the world's population and defending it for most of the rest.
-Margaret Thatcher

Some people's idea of free speech, is that they are free to say what they like, but if anyone says anything back, that is an outrage.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

First they came for prayer in school, and I did not speak out, because I was not a student.
Then they came to murder the unborn in their mother’s womb, and I did not speak out, because I was not an unborn child….

Yeah it's a pathetic imitation, but probably well meaning even if dreadfully self indulgent.

It's sentiments are taken from the same book that Pastor Martin Niemöller used for his poem. The book you call, at other times, completely evil.

So let's go and kill some more school children.
If you kill them in the womb, there's less of a mess.

Nothing close to the beauty and truth of the Neimoller poem was ever written by the savages whose words you believe.

Can you perhaps cite any occasions of school children being killed in the womb, or in fact any children being killed in the womb and can you relate those occasions to your much vaunted second amendment?

All I know is when a poem impressed you by it's "beauty and truth", it was written by a Christian, inspired by the bible.

Pastor Martin Niemöller believed that bible.

The whole history of these books [the Gospels] is so defective and doubtful that it seems vain to attempt minute enquiry into it: and such tricks have been played with their text, and with the texts of other books relating to them, that we have a right, from that cause, to entertain much doubt what parts of them are genuine.

Yes it's what those of us who's lives aren't dominated by hatred and bigotry are capable of, you'll probably find that non fundamentalist christians are capable of the same honesty because their lives are not dominated by hatred and bigotry.

Pastor Martin got you to admit that "non fundamentalist" Christians are capable of the same honesty! Lol, given your past positions, I would call the good pastor a miracle worker.

No. Theodore Roosevelt. Harvard grad and nobel laureate who served as the 25th & 26th president of the United States.

I doubt Mr. Boom Tish had as impressive a record.

"Pastor Martin got you to admit that "non fundamentalist" Christians are capable of the same honesty!" You failed to include the AS ME. They are capable of my honesty, you never have been. You are one who is included in the club of fundamentalist christian ie those who don't understand that truth.

The thing you are incapable of recognising, because of your overwhelming hatred and bigotry, is that Neimoller's poem is a truth that only fundamentalist christians, nazis and fascists cannot understand.Real people understand such truths inherently, they have no bigotry as influence.
