Why would he be waiting for danielle to explain something and how would he know she is going to explain a Paranoia mechanic if he's hot potato?

Notes:There are a couple of possible variations to this role: 1) The Hot Potato can be randomly assigned at the start of the game to any role, meaning that someone can be a Cop starting with a Hot Potato in their possession, 2) The person starting with the Hot Potato can be informed of the Hot Potato's movements each night, or 3) the person is roleblocked on the night that they receive the Hot Potato rather than on the night that they are passing it off.

Ways this breaks down
1) he's hot potato and Mason and can use both roles. Explains why he talked to her
2) he's hot potato as a role which is basically what he said. On which case he would have no idea about what she is going to explain
3) he's mason and lying. In which case I want to lynch him because It means danielle was also lying and he tested her.
In (3). If he's mason and visits scum he would have died. On this situation they are either both town confirmed or both scum confirmed

You are the HOT POTATO. You start the game with a HOT POTATO. You win with the Town.
NOTES:
If something prevents the player from giving away the HOT POTATO (e.g. roleblocker, commuter, etc.) the HOT POTATO will be given to a random, targetable player (that isn't the player currently holding it). If no such player exists, the bomb will explode harmlessly in mid air.
Note on timing: The player receiving the bomb during a Night Phase will be the one protected by it (killing their killers) not the person giving it away.
MESSAGE TO PLAYER/MESSAGE TO TARGET
"You have been given a HOT POTATO. If functions as a BOMB: if whoever receives this bomb is killed for any reason (except by lynching), their attacker will die as well. If they have multiple killers, one will be selected at random to die. You must give this HOT POTATO to another player during the next available night phase. If you do not, it will explode and kill you! (If you are Mafia, you may not give it to another Mafia player)"
(If the target cannot be given the bomb): "You cannot find your target so you toss the HOT POTATO into the crowd!"

If he really is the Mason then he had to have recruited Danielle successfully even after she claimed PGO. Because he’s alive it would mean Danielle is town or TP per Drafters list.

And all of those are correct. 3 is less likely because it assumes a bunch of shit. It assumes parot is mason and then lied dp2. Danielle lied about being pgo. And parrot was still willing to test her and know she wasn't scum because he would have died. 3 is possible but that type of town play is so dumb it's hard to town read
So 1 or 2 is more likely

GP was willing to visit a claimed PGO in a game in the past. But that doesn’t explain why he would claim Hot Potato. If he was Hot Potato to begin with then there’s no way he could communicate with her 2-ways.

I don't buy lynch all liars. That's not a dart thing. Its been around for like 10 years or more. If people have the right motivations to lie, I'll let it slide. There are just to many lies in one interaction and then parrot claiming a role where he can't communicate while basically saying he communicated with her.
