Personally I think I am just going to character claim anyway. Not sure it matters with all the possible fake claims anyway. The only risk is ruining the theme analysis which is typically useless anyway. At least on mafiascum it tends to be useless.
I don't think the theme split will be obvious in this game, and I can already tell the justifications for our roles are a bit loose, so you're probably right about mafia having a lot of options here and that is exactly why we shouldn't be popcorning claims so fast. Warren likely chose better known boxers (Grey is Deontay Wilder for god's sake), I bet mafia will be the odd ones out with some obscure claim and it'll be easier to pick them out. If we popcorn they have a greater ability to choose a well known boxer no one knows of, however.
I think GP is fine. He probably has a role he perceives as a power role, which is why he is not following his meta.

That's the thing, I don't think Warren would choose any old boxer for town. I know mine is notable, Grey's certainly is. If scum resort to lesser known boxers it'll be easy to sniff them out. Popcorning randomly may do more harm than good in this regard as they can claim more confidently...

This is my only account on here. I know it is popular to speculate on who an alt is or is not or whether somebody is or is not an alt, at some point I'll probably be accused of being one or multiple people I am not. It's just how this works. I played most of my games on mafiascum. I have played with a few people here before. I remember XLAV a lot and was looking forward to playing with him again. I am basing all that analysis provided on the last game played. With that said. I am keeping my identity private unless you know somebody says something like "hey let's make this guy a mod" . That won't happen but if something like that happened, I would be like "wait, don't do that LOL, not at least until everyone knows who I am". And that would just be a respect thing because the identity of people with more responsibility in the community is more important to know.
